My husband has been @ Vitalia for over 2 years. First in Assisted Living and now in Memory Care. I have never seen such a wonderful group of caring employees. And the facility is beautiful and very special. They offer LOTS of activities.

As a healthcare visitor new to Vitalia Westlake, I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with the Memory Care Director, Stephanie, and her team. From the start, the communication between Stephanie and her team has been exceptional. The team is always willing to lend a hand, and I never feel like I'm interrupting when I stop to ask questions or need guidance. It’s clear that they have a strong, collaborative dynamic. Stephanie stands out for her deep knowledge and accessibility; she is easy to contact and always ready to provide insightful answers or advice, making it much easier for me to do my job effectively. Beyond just being competent, the team is incredibly approachable and supportive, creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable. I truly appreciate how much they care about their residents. I find the atmosphere at Vitalia Westlake to be warm and welcoming, which makes my work even more rewarding.
Working through an agency, visiting various facilities can be overwhelming, as you never know what to expect. However, I must be transparent about my experience with Westlake's memory care last year, which was horrible. I vowed never to return to that facility. Almost a year later, I came back, but this time to the assisted living unit, which was a pleasant experience. Upon returning to the memory care unit, I was apprehensive, but after witnessing the changes made over the months, I was amazed. The residents were happy, the staff looked great, and communication had improved significantly. I was shocked by the transformation, and I must commend the wonderful staff for their caring attitude and compassion towards the residents. The staff efforts to implement changes quickly are also appreciated. I plan on returning.

I spoke with 2 people and also left a message for follow up and have received no assistance or further concern for my safety and medication reports.
If you are considering a move for yourself or a loved one, Vitalia in Westlake should be at the top of your list! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive which is always a pleasure to see.
