I’ve had the pleasure of working at Vista Prairie at North Point. It has truly been an incredible experience. From the moment I started,I was welcomed with open arms by the staff who are not only professional but genuinely caring. The atmosphere here is one of understanding and support, making it a place where both residents and staff thrive. One of the highlights of my time here has been the friendships I’ve built. The residents are warm, engaging, and a constant source of joy. I’ve learned so much from them and the bonds I’ve formed have been incredibly rewarding. The food here is also top-notch! It is always fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, ensuring that residents enjoy each meal.I couldn’t ask for a better place to work. Vista Prairie at North Point is a wonderful welcoming community and I’m proud to be part of it!

As I embark on my upcoming two-year work anniversary, I look back at all the positive changes Vista Prairie at North Pointe has made in the past few years. What comes to mind first and foremost is the amazing Leadership team we have here at North Pointe, which is led by our Executer Director Kim Putz. This team is always putting the residents first and we have made so many positive changes for our residents, based off of their input and suggestions. One of our residents, Lenita stated that she has "enjoyed all the friendships she has made since moving to North Pointe." She also stated "there are so many fun things to do here." "The nice thing is you can pick and choose what you want to attend." I am blessed to be part of this amazing team and being able to connect in so many ways with our residents. I cherish the relationships I have made here at North Pointe and it is a honor to be a part of this amazing community.
I wouldn’t even rate if I could. I feel so bad for many reasons. One I feel terrible for the residents because their cooks can’t cook properly and serve prison meals basically, and cross contaminate almost everything. They eat off residents plates before serving them their plates and when I expressed my concerns witnessing things I got backlash and retaliated against and then written up and fired for expressing my high concerns in regards to the quality care for the residents etc. The current cooks, many managers and the executive director and her boss are all extremely close and very entitled. Anyone coming in from elsewhere will always be the odd ball/outside and will always be in the wrong according to them. They have gone through now 6 culinary managers in about 10 months time if that even tells you anything. They leave residents in the chairs/wheelchairs soiling themselves during mealtimes for hours while the caregivers sit on their phones or to busy gossiping. They leave residents on toilets for over 45 minutes and laugh about it. This facility is all fake and nobody truly cares of the residents and it’s all about money that they care about. They will work their employees to death and then tell you you aren’t doing your job and will fire you. There’s so much more than this but this is all I am allowed to write.
Highly suggest staying away from this facility especially if you have to deal with upper management specifically the ED and the third-party HR department is entirely fake and most of the culinary department who are fake as can be. They are being turned into the State as we speak. Safety concerns and harassment concerns at this facility. There are employees in the culinary department who also eat off of residents plates.
My mother has been a resident at Monarch Meadows since September 2022. The marketing manager was very helpful in finding the right apartment for her. The maintenance department is awesome and is always there if she needs something repaired or has a question. The staff is always friendly and makes my mom feel welcomed. She has now been there for nine months and there have been many changes. My mom’s health is declining and she is now needing more services. Monarch Meadows has offered these services to allow her to continue to live there. There have also been many changes at Monarch Meadows as well. The buildings have always been beautifully decorated, but they have now updated the furniture in the common areas along with some new art pieces and paint. There have also been changes in management and staff. These changes have been for the good. It has strengthened communication within the buildings and within the different departments. The staff is well informed as are the residents and their families. The monthly activities calendar is full of activities for the resident to participate in and the residents are always smiling. I look at that as a sign that the residents are happy. They feel safe and can be as independent as they want and yet get assistance if they need it. All in all, I’m happy that we chose Monarch Meadows for mom. Her mother also lived there in the late 1990’s, so it was our first choice when it came time for her to move out of her home. Everyone knows my mom and greets her when she venture out of her apartment. I feel the staff genuinely cares and worries about mom when she is not feeling well.
