Our family hired Visiting Angels to take care of our loved one in her final weeks, as we were no longer able to provide the extensive care that she needed. We opted for a live-in 24/7 situation. From day one, Donna fit right in with our family, and it was like she had always been a part of it. Our loved one absolutely adores her and is so at ease with her. I can not say enough good things about how quickly Visiting Angels got someone in to help (same day) and how much we adore Donna; she is a true Visiting Angel.

Visiting Angels provided home care and transportation services to me while I was recovering from surgery. I have nothing but accolades for the services I received. Owner Chris conducted a very helpful initial consultation asking all of the right questions and anticipating issues I had not considered. The RN who performed my initial at-home medical evaluation was kind, respectful, and competently collected all relevant information. Marilyn and the office staff guided me smoothly through the administrative aspects of my care contract. My care partner Sharon was amazing! This review space doesn’t have enough room to fully capture the extent of her kindness, competence and love for her job and her clients. She was reliable, on time to work through weeks of snow and cold weather and greeted me each day with a beautiful smile and eye contact. Sharon demonstrated skill and kindness across so many aspects of care from meal preparation to bathing to transportation. She anticipated needs from ensuring my mobility devices were properly placed, asking questions and intently listening to the replies so that she understood what I needed, and she remembered so many important elements of our daily routine. Sharon’s greatest strength was the passion and joy she displayed doing her job every day, no matter what the task involved. These qualities set her apart. She was always looking for ways to encourage me and my family from offering to run local errands to baking my family’s favorite holiday treats. She was a natural conversationalist, genuine and funny. She had a knack for identifying what made her clients smile, and found ways to engage in those personal conversations day after day. Thankful for her, a true Angel!
Just finished two weeks with visiting angel Donna taking care of my 83 year old partner following his broken hip surgery and rehab. The care provided by Donna was everything we hoped for: professional, thoughtful, and caring. Plus it provided me, the caregiver, with a much needed respite. Donna was beyond wonderful, she became a valued member of our family during the two weeks she was here. We really felt like we had an Angel in our midst! Thank you Visiting Angels.
I would love to share my experience about this company Visting Angels I have been working with them for many years. I have nothing but good things to say about them first thing first. Patient’s are number one we love our patients and we give them all that is important to make sure they get the love and care that is deserving of them. Once a Man / Woman and Twice a Child so with putting our patents before our very self I would never fail to care and love them they are babies all over again and this is why l love Visting Angels because they support all values of keeping up with the patients and the care we give to family’s and their love ones. beautiful company which is always looking out for their clients care well being. This is why we are Angels. Care & Love is who we are. Which is our number one of all our standards of taking care of elderly’s providing good care above all to the family’s which we love. I have worked with patients on a long term basis and they become family’s to me that’s how much that’s how much we are loved by the service we Render to our patients.
When I signed a contract with Visiting Angels, I felt like I was taking such a huge leap of faith trusting anyone with the care of my mother. I had a good feeling after initially meeting the director at my mother’s home, but it is hard to trust that anyone could put the level of care and consideration into care as I would do myself. During the first year that we were Visiting Angels clients, my mother was connected to some very capable and kind care workers part-time, and she was very fond of each of them. When Mom’s health took a dip and she ended up in the hospital, followed by rehabilitation for a few weeks, we made the decision to increase her care to full time, and that is when Mom was paired with Sharon M.. On day one, Sharon M. came with a very kind, attentive and respectful attitude. She spoke directly to my mother, never talking over her to me for directions or insight, and that set the tone and calmed my concerns immediately. She really sought to discover what my mother needed most, what would be most beneficial to my mother, and she met those needs with care and dignity. My mother soon adored Sharon, and I felt at ease with Sharon’s care. Under Sharon’s care, mom flourished. She kept mom active with walks and outings, considered my mother’s feelings and emotional needs as well, and used every bit of her time with mom in a positive and constructive way. On top of that, Sharon was incredibly knowledgeable and very careful and concise with communication to me, and I never felt out-of-the-loop. Sharon really exceeded all my expectations for a caregiver, and I can not imagine a more capable or knowledgeable partner in my mother’s care. Please keep Sharon at all costs. She is a leader, mentor and an example of what everyone would want in a caregiver. She is the most wonderful face of Visiting Angels, and if you can’t clone her, I hope she may set an example for others. Speaking of the face of the company, I also want to express that Marilyn M. is also an exceptional ambassador for the company. She is always quick to resolve any concerns I had, and was always effective and efficient at communication. On top of that she made me feel that no concern or question was silly, and conveyed a positive and caring message. Please protect Sharon and Marilyn at all costs. They are an asset to your company. Though I am grateful that Mom is now in full-time care, I do miss the people at Visiting Angels, and I have recommended the company wholeheartedly to many friends.
