Very happy with the service. Visiting Angels has been able to meet our needs with high quality care and kind attention. Management checks in regularly to make sure we are pleased with the service. A nurse regularly evaluates the patient to make sure health needs are being met. Management is very responsive to varying needs as they arise, including providing backup coverage when a regular caregiver is out sick or on leave. Very professional service, highly recommended! I called to discuss in home care for my husband who is in late stage Alzheimer’s. The person I spoke with, Leo Pasadas was kind, understanding and most helpful. Speaking with him eased my anxiety and made my day. I can’t actually speak to the care my husband may receive for Visiting Angels yet, but if Leo is any indication I believe I will be very happy with Visiting Angels
When I returned home after spinal surgery, I needed help. I called Visiting Angels and was very pleased with the support I received both from Elizabeth who handled all scheduling and concerns and from Rashidatou who worked with me every day helping me with great kindness, caring and efficiency. Highly recommend Visiting Angels.
I am very disappointed in Visiting Angels of Silver Spring. To start with there was a lot of miscommunication, what was told to me was no longer true! They stated it was never discussed, but I have everything written down, who I talked with, to include exact date and time of conversations! We tried anyways and the first week went well, however not enough work for the required 12 hours a week. I called to discuss reducing hours or we would need to end service! They agreed to reduce to 8 hours a week! This made my in-laws happy! Today, (this would have been the second week), they called a terminated services with no notice. Caregiver changed her mind and decided she needed more hours. I understand but notice would of been nice as Visiting Angels did not even offer to send/find someone else!!!! I am very bothered for an organization that takes care of seniors they would just leave my in-laws with nothing!!! So he aware at the unprofessional attitude of admitting staff and the caregivers!!! Not truth worthy or someone you can count on. There must be others out there that put seniors as a priority!!! 😥😥
I recently contact Visiting Home Angels seeking help for my mother. Jennifer Howard was the representative I worked with and she could not have been more helpful and kind. She answered all of my questions and gave me a lot of confidence in the possibility of hiring this company to help care for my parents.
