905 Aaron Dr, Lynden, WA 98264, United States
I worked a scheduled 6 AM to 10 PM shift at Lynden Manor. I arrived on time, did my job, and worked closely with another caregiver all day. The day and night staff were great — supportive, respectful, and team-oriented. But the evening shift? A complete disaster. The med tech on duty couldn’t even show the basic decency to ask my name. I was just “agency” to her — not a person, not a coworker, just a title. Then, with zero explanation, she rudely told me, “My director said you can go home, other staff is coming.” I complied, only to later hear that someone falsely reported I “didn’t do any work.” That’s a straight-up lie — I was working the entire time until I was abruptly dismissed. To make matters worse, this same med tech showed absolutely no concern for resident safety. A resident reportedly had a fall that evening — confirmed and brought to our attention by a family member. The med tech’s response? “Congratulations to her,” followed by zero assessment, no medical check, and not even a moment to look at the resident. She just told us to put the resident in bed. That’s not just unprofessional — it’s dangerous and negligent. If you’re an agency worker thinking of picking up a shift here, don’t. This place doesn’t respect agency staff, doesn’t value teamwork, and allows people who clearly don’t care about residents to stay in charge. I have a full-time job, and I pick up shifts to help out — not to be treated like I’m disposable or to witness neglect.
