My mother-in-law recently spent two weeks here. Overall the care was very good. The therapy departments were excellent. The majority of the workers were caring and attentive. Buildings are old, but fairly well-maintained. A few small incidences happened that we needed to intercede. Unfortunately, the majority of these facilities in general need a lot of family oversight. We were able to do that for my mother-in-law. I do feel for the people who Are in these facilities, and for whatever reason do not have Family watching out for them.

This place is a joke. My aunt died and they never notified our family. The person I spoke to did not have an ounce of empathy, in fact, she was downright rude. And they let a neighbor woman befriend my aunt and we have no clue where any of my aunts stuff went. Beware!!!
They sure don't deserve 5 star,4 star ,3 star,2 star. Nursing homes are totally different now. Im adding to this, reason I worked their I did 2 peoples job plus u had 2 areas very big alot of work.thats why hard workers get over worked antaken advantage. I left their dropped of notice an front desk. I couldn't deal with it plus had a very sick wife. So I received I. The mail to get medical I applied for it.it had monthly price. Insent it in then I received aTermination letter so that took away getting medical. I worked very hard their everybody liked my work. BUT the problem is when you are friends with all management you can get away With things here that is. I was asked to clean some rooms on 2 From the patients. I said I would but when the reg workers leaves for the day Patients said their rooms haven't been cleaned in 2 to 3 days.one was a father That had a room. They thanked me I didn't mind it's for a patient What I did mind was that worker didn't do her job. I said something nothing happens cause she has good friends An management took short cuts on covid rooms.an spray tile in patients rooms.while patient was in their I seen it an dealt with one covid room so I bleached the hell out of it but I dressed for covid room it was on a weekend.but that room could of waited till Monday. So home cares are not the same you must as a family member pay attention To everything..when awhile ago it was runner by SIsters they took care of all But I geuss over time alot retired then corporate to over.like I said Friendship Needs to be outside .not all places leave people get away with things some friends or not you must do your work. I really did my work an very tierd end of the day an im 63 an had work in all buildings. Then the nerve that management asked me to help a worker .I did.but shouldnt of.i handled very big area. I stick up for things tierd of things like this.i gave a notice but someone had to terminate. Me so I couldn't get insurance An someone that worked their said they went had employees sign I regination letter . Your not supposed to sign that type of letter. REASON when you do that That takes any issues away from that company unemployment etc. Keeping a place clean is very important For infections or getting uti infection You can if it's a double room an the floor If you get a cut .an thats very true. So any nursing home need to pay attention on all detail. Hope this helps employees an patients Anywhere .so any company can do what ever they want..thanks for reading this
My family member stayed here after falling and breaking a hip. No one ever took her out of her room or tired to interact with her other than the least necessary. We never had a care meeting. If I didn't call repeatedly, mulytiple services, I would know nothing. Additionally the facility is so old and drab looking that my mom kept asking me why I put her in jail. I do not recommend.
My mother, unfortunately, had to stay in this facility for a month, and they were not a bit understanding about our sudden upsetting family situation. My mother fell and broke her hip, and she was suddenly dependent on others to do everything for her, after she had hip surgery. We were all very upset, to begin with, because we had to come to the realization that she wouldn’t be able to return to her nice apartment. She was independent before this happened. We were going through a lot of stress, and we were just coming to terms with the fact that we were going to have to break the lease on her apartment and find a place for her to go to. The staff there, especially the nurses, did not care about our family’s sudden, upsetting issues. The nurses aids were not friendly either. We were given just three days to find a place for her, after she completed as much rehabilitation as Medicare would pay for. They charged us over 300 dollars a day after that. The nurse in the C building basically told us she was never going to be able to do anything for herself and to find a nursing home for her. I called back to get more information about this, and she was very rude and condescending about it, even when her supervisor was nearby. She said she already told me everything there was to say. She asked me if I wanted to speak with her supervisor, and I just told her how rude and insensitive she was being and hung up, because I was in tears. They wanted my mom out of the place, as soon as possible, and they never even recommended their assisted living care to us. I wouldn’t have considered it anyhow.
