It breaks my heart to have and write this but the Director of Reflections here Lisa does not do her job. Main focus is to handle family concerns as well as plan activities for residents in the memory care unit. The Director or Reflections had nothing planned for this halloween for the residents and staff had to come up with creative measures to ensure all residents was treated equally. Another main focus of her role is to assist in making sure residents have clothes that fit. Toothbrushes/ deodorant the normal hygiene list of things was not being met. Residents with several month old tooth brushes. Things get brought to the attention of Executive Director who has been allegedly by most of the building to be sleeping with the Director of Reflections. All in all not a good place to work. The Director of Operations Jake let's Antonio run the building unlike any other silvercrest building but somehow this is the village silvercrest property corporate is most concerned about.

Our dad lives at Village Shores (for one year now.) He enjoys the food, the care he receives, his apartment, the activities, the club exercise equipment. The staff are kind and respect. We are grateful and thankful that our dad has such a wonderful place to live!
Village Shores has been very welcoming to host the MY Credit Union Adventure Club. I always enjoy my times visiting with the staff and residents and especially playing Bus Bingo.
I moved my mom to their memory care facility after receiving a recommendation from MN Hospice. They went above and beyond to make her feel welcome. She was at the highest level of care when she arrived and they took great care of her until the end. Their prices are higher than other places but it was worth it. I also appreciated that their care staff are all permanent employees, unlike other facilities that employ temporary workers.
My Mom has lived at Village Shores for 4 years. She is so happy there which makes me so glad she chose that place. She often says she has "no complaints" and loves her apartment facing west so she can see beautiful sunsets. There is a great variety of programs and I often have trouble finding a time to see her as she is so busy - that's a good problem to have! She loves the food, balance class, Deszo's history lectures, and her two book groups! There is always a friendly and active atmosphere happening there! I enjoy talking with residents and staff when I come to visit!
