Be warned about this branch of the Village Glen as staff abuse the residents by speaking and treating them like they are garbage. Calling a resident names is a common thing especially if they are not liked by the nursing team. Staff say awful things about the residents they don't like to their face, loud enough so they can hear or behind their backs. They have their favourites that they give extra time for but anyone else can just wait until they finally have to help or see them especially if they are not liked. They neglect the residents that they don't like by ignoring them at all times except medication times. Theft is also an issue. People on respite care get treated so nicely because they are only staying a short time. So, the staff don't really get to know them. Avoid this place.

My Mother had a Respite spell here recently and we cannot recommend it highly enough....Administration, Reception, Nursing team, Carers, Lifestyle were all extremely friendly, helpful and reassuring. Special shout out to Annie in Lifestyle. Many thanks to all!!
Visited my Auntie and from the reception to leaving I couldn’t speak highly enough The care my Auntie is receiving is wonderful, Staff were all so lovely, the facility is bright, modern and clean It would be a great place to live if required or to work at. Staff and residents seemed happy If only all Ages care facilities were like this
My husband has been in the Mornington Facility since late September. I cannot emphasis enough just how wonderful all the staff are and how caring they are toward residents. Nothing is too much trouble and they will absolutely go to great lengths to assist in any way at all. From the moment you walk in to reception you are greeted by wonderful front of house personnel I now feel part of a family and have made many friends both with staff and residents which make visiting my husband such a pleasant time Thank you so much
I would not suggest or advice to put your loved ones into a Nursing home if you can make any other arrangements. But as an independent professional visiting lot of the Nursing homes south of Melbourne city Mornington peninsula area and this Home is one the best places to be in.
