This place is AWESOME. If I lived in the area, this would be the place I'd go once I reach my golden yrs. My uncle is in the process of deciding if there is where he could be happy and thrive. He's 88yrs old, and his age progression is moving rather quickly. They provide EVERYTHING!!! U will want for nothing. I've never visited a place like this. I know they exist, I just never looked into. If u r getting on in yrs or if u know someone who is, this community or 1 like it is ur next step!

Google finally got this one correct. I was actually at The Village At Woods Edge. I must say they do an excellent job. The staff pays close attention to the residents and keeps everyone well and safe. In these times of short staffed facilities, they still do a good job. I should know, because I am a retired nurse. If I ever need assisted living care, I hope that I can find a place as great as The Village At Woods Edge.
My Father has been living at the Village for more than 12 years and I can't think of a better place to live after retirement! The facilities, staff and management are amazing! Keep up the great work Village at Woods Edge and Thank you from the bottom of my heart for you support over the past decade!
When I first visited the Village to see if it would be appropriate for my grandmother, I was amazed at how beautiful and quiet it is. It is very close to local shops and right around the corner from the hospital, but the grounds are almost silent. It is almost as if it's in another world. The staff was immediately welcoming and answered all of my questions. They also asked a lot of questions of their own about my grandmother to make sure that they offered what she needed, and also to find out more about her interests so that they could help her acclimate as much as possible. When we moved my grandmother in she had been staying long-term in a physical rehabilitation facility that just was not set up for long-term care. She was pale and depressed, and really wanted nothing to do with anyone. After about a week at the Village, she was much more herself and had regained her color and energy. She had many medical emergencies during her stay (the main reason we wanted her in a place like the Village), and we were kept informed at all times. If she fell, if she went to the ER, when she came back, what changes were made to her meds--everything was communicated to us. There were days where we might speak with someone at the Village 4 or 5 times as her condition changed, or get texts for minor updates where the important information had already been conveyed through a phone call. When COVID hit, we were very concerned about my grandmother and the other people at the Village, but again communication was constant. We were informed of all changes to procedures, and the few cases that they had were kept isolated. The staff works tirelessly and has frankly unbelievable amounts of patience and we will forever be grateful to them for everything that they have done for our family.
Great food. The best crab soup. Very clean. Service was good.
