The staff at Villa Gardens have gone above and beyond in their care of my mother. She is so happy here. The grounds are beautifully manicured with many activities available for the residents. I cannot say enough how grateful my entire family are to have found this amazing place.

My mother in law stayed here for two weeks following ahip surgery and we were very happy with the facility and care provided. The garden area is especially nice and far superior to other places we considered. We could sit outside for lunch and practice walking around the paved garden path. They even let us bring her dog for a visit! our only complaint was that her roommate’s TV was always on at high volume which made it hard at times for her to rest and relax. They should provide headphones so the residents can listen without disturbing others. Aside from that minor issue I have nothing but good things to say about Villa Gardens and the staff there. Highly recommended for post-op or short-term stays!
I couldn't recommend Villa Gardens enough! My Grandpa Ken passed here in 2024 and Grandma Ginni passed here in 2018. The day my grandfather moved here, we asked about hosting our wedding the next day since he was steadily declining and unsure if he could attend our wedding in Fallbrook, California. The staff were so accommodating and friendly to graciously host our micro wedding ceremony and reception within 24 hours. We were able to fulfill my grandfather's dying wish of seeing us get married thanks to Villa Gardens. The care team here are also very attentive, warm, and knowledgeable. I'm so grateful for everything they've done for us and can't thank them enough!
They insist everyone be diapered but don't always change those diapers. If you have a loved one here, please be sure they are changing their diapers frequently, as elderly people get UTIs without pain, and that can easily become sepsis. Can also cause bedsores which can become infected and kill people. If your loved one "doesn't want theirs changed" then they just won't change it, even when you ask them to call you if there is a problem.
My 94 year old mother recently spent 3 weeks here after a hospitalization for heart irregularities. This was her first time in a facility of its kind and I was extremely satisfied with the care and caring staff. Luis, her PT, was remarkable in his ability not only to convey his expertise in physical therapy but to relate to mom in such a way that she looked forward to seeing him every day. The aides were available and helpful especially Sarah who showed a great deal of empathy and kindness. Nurses Alan and Viviana were attentive and always spent a few extra minutes talking to my mom when bringing meds. VG provided excellent care, was clean and it's small size was a plus; the staff were all very friendly, professional and willing to answer questions about mom's care at any time.
