Unfortunately, my mother only lived in house 2 for 4 weeks, but we as a family experienced the care as a warm blanket. Committed and helpful care staff who you could always contact if necessary. Even though they knew my mother briefly, 2 employees were present at the funeral. So thoughtful!

My father spent just under 3 months in Piet Pauw. In house 13 on the 2nd. My father came there because of his Alzheimer's and dementia. Unfortunately, in January 2017 last year, they diagnosed prostate cancer with metastases. The nurses in house 13 are all top notch. The client is central, all attention for my father is well thought out. During my father's last days, they took good care of my mother and wife, bringing them coffee, tea and food. Pieter Pauw, house 13 in particular is highly recommended. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the ladies (nurses) very much for the nice, sweet, good support and care of my father. Yours sincerely. Stakenburg family
My grandfather spent just under a month in Pieter Pauw house 8 and we as a family are extremely grateful for the good care the employees gave him. They were all equally nice and helpful. Homely atmosphere, good food and opportunities to sit with guests both indoors and outdoors. So thank you very much again.
I came into contact with PP because my partner's grandmother was admitted there. In the beginning I was quite skeptical because I had experienced such an instance before and there was a lot that was disappointing sometimes... but I really enjoyed it. Our wishes and those of grandma were taken into account. the staff coped well with her idiosyncrasies and I never heard them complain or be dismissive. When we arrived there was always room for a short transfer and for questions. When we came with our daughter, things brightened up even more (for both the residents and the staff). I think it is a very smart move how the building is put together (there is space downstairs to sit and have something to eat and drink with plenty of activities for the little ones - which brings some life to the residents). Unfortunately, Grandma recently passed away, after surprisingly more years than expected. Here too there was a lot of warmth and commitment from the personal, which struck me. We will not come again for a while, but we will keep the place in warm memories. If there is a demand for such a residential facility, Pieter Pauw is a successful answer. kind regards I.R.
Did volunteer work for a year. The staff is very helpful and a lot is done for the people.
