Words cannot describe how special this place is. The owners and staff are beyond special. It truly feels that Victorian Gardens is not profit driven, but rather service driven. The staff has gone above and beyond to help us situate my mother-in-law, and more recently with my father-in-law’s hospice experience. These are difficult times for our family, but they are made much more peaceful due to the support and love provided by the owners and staff. If that wasn’t enough, the facilities are first class. It’s the most comfortable place for families to gather; by a long shot. My parents stay at places that cost 2-3 times more. They were very nice; no complaints, but I’d much rather spend time visiting my loved ones at V.G. Added benefit! The place is always clean never smells like urine. Then there are the residents. They are great! There is a core group of residents that work hard to include other residents in the fun. For example, my mother-in-law has memory issues. The other residents make sure she is included in the various activities (which are plenty, and the activities director is a saint). There is the “Hilltop Lounge” where the residents can gather for a drink or two. They have some serious fun in that lounge; no exaggeration. So many fun characters in the group! My wife, her entire family and I feel truly blessed to have found this treasure. For the money, you simply won’t find a better deal.

This place was beautiful and very accommodating to my grandpa. Everything was right there for you. It’s amazing how they turned this hotel into a retirement center. I absolutely love it! Includes a pool, barber shop, restaurant, workout gym, movie theater, church, and lots of seating! We had a lot of parties out in the pool area/gathering area, it’s very spacious for when they can’t come to the party so you bring the party to them(:
Victorian-Gardens is now considered home by my mom. It gives her the feeling of being independent but also a feeling of content and security knowing that there are those close by that are available to meet her every need. There are choices in each meals and the food is excellent. The rooms are very spacious and with her using a walker, this is a plus for maneuvering. She loves sitting in the courtyard and the feeling that you are outside without any discomfort. She and our family are very happy that she is well cared for each day.
The owners are not some large corporation. In fact, you can regularly find them on the premises. My mom has been here over 5 years and is still enjoying it. They have planned outings as well as daily in-house activities. There are many options for her to choose from which help her from being bored. We have looked around and haven't found anything that compares.
