From the minute I walked into Victoria Landing, I knew that this was something different. From the welcome desk, to the community library, to the fabulous river views, and the restaurant style cafeteria, they aim to make it feel like a resort, and the people there make that vision work. My elderly mother arrived a year ago after driving became a problem, and maintaining her house was becoming overwhelming. Victoria Landing was the perfect solution. My mother could maintain her independence, in her own apartment, or socialize with her neighbors at the various events and outings that are constantly taking place. She could eat at the restaurant or go out with friends. Keeping track of her meds was handled by the in-house nursing staff, and I quickly realized how hard the nurses and aids work to keep the residents healthy and thriving. They keep an eye on Mom, and can contact family and doctors should the need arise. Their director is an RN with deep hospital experience, and compassion to match. When Mom required more personalized assistance, we recently moved her to a room in the Memory Care facility, where she is receiving help and encouragement every day. This Thanksgiving, I am especially grateful to the staff and administration of Victoria Landing for the care, respect and compassion you show to the residents every day. Thank you all.

Victoria Landing has been my parents' home since August of 2021. My family did extensive research on all of Brevard's facilities and Victoria Landing is by far the best home for them. The minute you walk through the entrance doors of the building, you are greeted by the caring, friendly and loving staff. They have very little turnover with their staff members, and it feels like a family. The business itself is family-owned and the owners are deeply invested in the community, unlike one that is corporate-held. I encourage anyone seeking assisted or memory care living for a loved one to tour the beautiful Victoria Landing facility before committing elsewhere.
My mom lived at this memory care facility. Sadly, you don't really realize how bad it is until you leave and go somewhere else. The residents are confined to an area where they watch TV all day long - it's always freezing for them. The residents in the middle of the summer are wearing winter coats and the lighting is so harsh. I could write about 16,000 different ways about how bad the medical team is - but I'll reserve this for others. I will say, and you can pretty much mark it on a calendar that about every 45-60 days, there is some sort of either viral or bacterial outbreak that runs through that place and they do literally nothing to mitigate it and you are left with about 3-5 empty rooms soon after. My mom was almost one of those statistics during the last one - and they could care a less. She was in the hospital for 8 days with dehydration, a bacterial infection where the hospital could not even identify what type of bacteria it was. They are constantly understaffed, which results in Agency staff, only the minimum staff required. While under care at Victoria Landing, my mom went to the hospital at least 4 times. Victoria Landing, please do everyone a favor and get out of the memory care business or change your management team to people who actually care and know what they are doing. Front lobby staff was/is wonderful and some of the techs are very sweet and were always kind to my mom and my family - so nothing personal against them. The owner needs to understand what is going on and I hope he/she reads these reviews because you are losing some very good clients. Thank you.
I am so happy I chose Victoria Landings for my father. In the worst of times, they were both caring and compassionate and made the transition to assisted living a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. I highly recommend Victoria Landings!
My Grandmother moved to Victoria Landing in July. She (and all of the family) LOVE IT. The staff is the best! They really care about everyone, it is evident the minute you walk in, with smiling faces and happy greetings. It was difficult for her to leave her home of 50yrs, but everyone has been wonderful in helping her transition. She is so happy, always busy, feels safe and truly feels she is living the resort life. Victoria Landing is THE BEST!!!!!
