Our parents moved in to the Independent Living building about 3 years ago. It was a big change especially since they were in their early 80s at the time. They ended up really adjusting well and it quickly became home for them. They knew some people living there and met others as well. The facilities were always welcoming and clean. Both mom and dad commented about how good the food was and we know they enjoyed the social aspect of being with others and all the activities and outings available. All the staff are very friendly and make every effort to accommodate the residents. The range of services available from or coordinated by Vicinia is robust. As our parents aged and experienced some complex and challenging health situations, we were always impressed by how much help was available when we felt at a loss. This included an emergency medical team, medication services, regular medical appointments, and hospice care. Staff always knew who our parents were and had a good understanding of their needs. As our parents’ situation evolved, they were able to transition to the memory care and assisted living buildings. It was so helpful to stay on the same campus and many of the same staff continued to provide their care. The care and dedication everyone had was impressive. It takes a special person to work in this environment while being so compassionate and that was our experience with everyone at Vicinia. If we could rewind time then, without a doubt, we would be encouraging mom and dad to choose Vicinia. Thanks everyone for all the care and assistance you provided and we wish you all the best.

Just moved my mother here from another senior living complex. All I have seen so far is her apartment. It is very spacious and well laid out. As I see and learn more of the facility, I will post updates.
Beautiful Facility with Staff Who Truly Care about their Residents. Offers Studio, 1 and 2 bedroom units with Full Kitchens and In-unit Washer and Dryers. Also helps residents with all inclusive real estate services encompassing moving, listing, selling, packing and cleaning!
My mom has lived here almost 1 year after having lost my dad and had to move from Florida back to Mich. Everyone, everyone has been so friendly and willing to help when needed. Her new apt home is very spacious compared to others we had toured and is just beautiful since it is so new. Her view is great, she loves her patio and loves to ride her Trike Bike thru the complex! Go Pat Go!
My dear Mother in-law is an independent resident there at Vicinia Gardens. Her living conditions are welcoming, clean, safe, and friendly. There are always activities for her to attend, as well as personal resources she might need. Holidays and special occasions are decorated and celebrated well for the residents to enjoy. The dining room and place settings are always lovely and comfortable for her meals. She is content, and that means so much to the family. Thank you, Patty Bouchard
