We had to place mom here for short term rehab after a fall at home. We were concerned after reading some of the reviews, so I’m here to give an honest review and maybe alleviate struggles and misgivings of placing a family member. First and foremost, the facility is clean, and staff members practice all proper protocols when dealing with patients. They are well dressed, clean, and use masks when working. I saw much use of hand sanitizer as well. Yes, the staff are busy, but always recognized us and treated mom very well. The food isn’t fancy of course, but when you think about the audience, bland is good! The meals are plain, but there’s plenty of it that provides the necessary requirements…mom never went hungry (she put on a little weight which was good, and had zero complaints. She always had liquids, coffee, etc and never wanted for anything. The nurses were always available and did everything right. PT was consistent and also did a great job. In a rehab facility like this, they are always overworked. I have the utmost respect for everyone here and was sure to thank every one of them, from nurses, office staff, and the food workers thank you! You all took wonderful care of mom and I wish I could do more than give you a great review. Thank you all….keep up the amazing work and know every time you come to work you’re taking care of many people that need it and you’re making a difference in so many lives….

Dear Vantage Staff, Words cannot describe what our family has gone through over these past few weeks. We blinked one day and then landed at Vantage Chelmsford. We were afraid, skeptical and had no idea what was ahead of us. We then met a team of care givers that were caring and wanted to help us move forward and heal. All of our concerns were addressed and we felt at ease. The team at Vantage did an amazing job taking care of the clinical needs of both of my in-laws but more impressive is your empathy and genuine caring for the patient well-being. My mother in law had fallen and broken 3 of her limbs, and was pretty helpless at the beginning and my father in law was faced with an exacerbation of his CHF. Who would have known, but these were his last days with us. You will never know the impact you had on us. You are special people who have found your calling and the world is a better place because of you. You are making a difference for your patients and their families. Fast forward 6 weeks later, my mother in law has progressed well and is walking with assistance. She has her spunk back and is fussy about what she eats and wants things done ‘her way’. It’s wonderful to see this and so happy to be taking her home to live with us. Please accept our sincere gratitude and thanks for getting us through this time in our lives.
My Father was there in April until May for rehab. Absolute worst experience that set him back tremendously. Third shift wanted to put him in a diaper when instructions were bathroom with assistance due to fractured neck.Implied he had incontinence to avoid doing their job. Never had toileting issues at all until their neglect. A staff person on third shift intimidated my elderly father to a the point of anger and fear. They just care about getting paid and not the patients under their care. Do not send a loved one here.
Professional, compassionate, skilled, communicators, caring, radiating warmth, are just a few of the words to describe the ongoing care for my friend whom I visit almost daily and have for almost three years. My friend has complex medical conditions, and from Dr Sirakov, Georgia. NP's Nicole and Joy, Donna, Infection Specialist, and his nursing staff but especially the nurses (Want to name nurses , Sherri, Julia Margaret, Mary and Mary, Sarah , Pradniyah,Jackie, Noah, Elizabeth,!Karen, and numerous others but my memory is not always good for names) and CNA's and LNA's team (not limited to, but Ann, Nancy,Denise, Pauline, Athelia (sp?), Miriam, Naw, Angel, Yamah,Syd(again, too many to mention! but these LNA's CNA's ,Director Ruchi, and Julie Director of Therapy Services and staff in OT (Kyle)and PT Wu, Jeanne, (not a complete list!)Speech Therapist in the past, Infection specialist Donna, and other specialists brought in to the premises, Activties Director Jennifer and staff, Mo(Monique) , Lily, as well as Doris and Donna in the Business Office, Alison in Records, Clair in Supplies, and always, Sarai and Maxine, and all who fill in for them, Laundry, Food Services, Social workers Coleen and Jayne, we are grateful for the ongoing care my friend is getting. Yes, there are occasional problems as there are in any organization, but without this incredible group of people and the residents themselves, who respond tirelessly with the humor, care and compassion and empathy they exude my friend's quality of life would not be what it is. Again, we are grateful for each person at Vantage Health. Someone who comes in from the outside said, "I travel to six other facilities, this is the best one." Whether your loved on is here for Rehab or Long Term Care, you can know your family/friend will be getting the care they need and deserve. Thank you all. p.s. and if someone's name is not on this list, especially in Therapy, it is that we have had less frequent contact, and you are still appreciated. Nancy and resident's friend and
I would give 0 stars if I could. My Dad and step dad were here. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here! The person in charge was unethical. It is amazing that they treat the elderly so poorly!
