The staff took great care of my mom after her stroke in 2015. Very caring and gentle. They provided a safe and loving environment for me to visit her, and a safe and loving environment for mom to be in after her stroke.
What a great first impression. Patty in Admissions made us feel welcome giving us a tour and introducing us to staff. The staff that we have met from Carol, Administrator to Melissa and Jake have been very supportive and made sure they took the time to orient us to the facility and daily routine. This put our family at ease. It has been a difficult transition for all of us but the staff made us feel more comfortable.
I have asked for food for my mother, they don't come. I ask for help to bring my mother to the bathroom, they don't come. My mother has fallen several times because she has to go to the bathroom. She has urinated in her pants and has sat in it because they don't come. I am very disappointed in this place. I heard good things about Valerie Manor so this is where I wanted my mother to be. I am very sad at this point. My mother has now been admitted to the hospital after staying in Valorie Manor. Due to their horrible care.
I could not be more grateful for the care and love the Valerie Manor staff gave my sister over the past 6 years. Valerie Manor became her home and the Valerie Manor team became her extended family. My sister was treated with compassion and kindness, which gave her the dignity that each of us deserve. Thank you to everyone at Valerie Manor.
