This is a lovely setting and they offer a lot of good things. However, I am a senior on a very limited income and cannot afford to pay so much extra. I am very disappointed because I used the senior center where I used to live and it offered even more classes and things to do but was very reasonable in cost. I signed up here for a Tai Chi class which was about $80 I think and had to pay to find out if it was what I expected..I only went once since it was not what I was looking for....the classes I used to attend were much more physical/movement oriented and this teacher sat in a chair and there was very little movement...in my experience with Tai Chi, you need to be moving continuously and not stopping all throughout the session and a lot of talking and conversation going on instead of moving. If I did what I wanted here, and what I did in my previous state/city it would cost me $300 per month and I simply do not have it now that I am not working. Too bad, because it is a nice facility and location. but, you definitely have to have a pretty good monthly income to take part in it.

Lots of interesting classes and activities. There is something for everyone. It is a great place to hang out and the staff and volunteers are super helpful and friendly.

I regularly attend the weekly "Current Events" program at the Upper Arlington Senior Center. We meet most weeks on Tuesday afternoons, 2:00-4:00 p.m., in Building 1, Rm. 104 [in the southeast room of the northwest of the four buildings]. Each week, we either have a speaker [or speakers] on a specific topic or we have an "Open Discussion" that focuses on various topics that participants have suggested.
Variety of activities - Silver Sneakers - friendly, helpful, caring staff - easy access and parking.
