I recently had the opportunity to visit a long-term care facility, and I wanted to share my experience to help others in similar situations. Facility Overview: The facility is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for residents who require ongoing assistance with daily activities. It features well-maintained communal areas, gardens, and private rooms, which contribute to a homely atmosphere. Care Quality: The staff at the facility were incredibly compassionate and attentive. I observed that they took the time to engage with residents, addressing their needs and preferences. The nurses were not only skilled but also showed genuine warmth, which is vital in such settings.

Thank you to the team for the dedicated care, attention, and patience you showed our family for several months this year. The nursing staff was amazing! Shy was incredibly thoughtful and detailed and professional. Absolutely adored our aides Lee and Saul, and everyone else was a great help. Many thanks to the team!
1.5 stars This place is ghetto, they do not clean the rooms daily. Only trash and maybe sweeping is done. Each day you are supposed to wipe things down like the door knobs, remotes, etc. it cuts down on germs. My mom had gotten sick so many times. Her almost 3-4 month stay was unpleasant. My mother would hit the call button and wait a hour for a response or more. The staff is a joke. From them in the hallway talking about other staff or patients to ignoring calls at the end of their shift so they can go home, leaving it for the next shift. My mom has had to wait to get changed til the next shift comes. Ridiculous! Everything about this place is a joke. Do not bring your loved one here!
Staff is excellent from therapists to nurses to aides. Even the driver and management are attentive to patients needs. I've been to another rehab facility in the area but care and attention does not match what I'm getting at University City!
My aunt was recently admitted to this facility, the thought of her not being around family had me nervous, but I must say I like this facility for her, she loves the activities and the people there.. special thanks to Miss Sharlene and Aja they are always nice and helpful. Thanks for being great !!!
