We placed my Mother~in~Law from a facility in Mississippi (where she had lived) to Tyler’s Mill in Deptford, close to where we live. Upon our first initial visit, I found it to be very welcoming, clean and pleasant. A resident spoke to me on the front porch asking if I was bringing my mother there. I said, “yes, we are considering having my MIL be a resident here”. The woman responded “she will be happy here. They are good to us, treat us well, the place is clean, the food is good and we are all friends”. That was a wonderful welcoming to our family. She has been a resident for almost 2 months now and is very happy there. Her room is kept very clean, there is a great sense of “family” between the residents and staff; the food is good (we’ve eaten a few meals there), the grounds are lovely and they have activities to keep everyone engaged as well as “outings” for the residents. We highly recommend it. We’ve had a few phone calls regarding changes in medication or recommendations for making her life there easier and it has just been a lovely, easy transition. It is also centrally located to many restaurants and doctors. We would highly recommend Tyler’s Mill Senior Living to anyone considering placing a loved one there.

Recently I had to make the most difficult decision in my life . I’m so happy that I came to find Tyler’s mill for my father. The entire transition process with Kristen was seamless . Courtney has really been fantastic with getting dad involved in activities. Katelyn has been so helpful with coordinating physician care and physical therapy. I would love to give a shout out to all the other employees who are there day to day and night after night engaging with, providing meals, cleaning and so much more and I thank you for all you do! Tyler’s Mill Senior Living has been great for my family member. They make sure that he takes his meds correctly, has good dinners to eat, and that his clothes are clean. Anytime I need help getting my family member ready for a doctor or dentist appointment, the friendly staff make sure that he is groomed and ready to go. What I am most impressed about is Tyler’s Mill commitment to making sure they have the very best people in place including a doctor that visits the facility regularly and communicates my family member’s health condition on a regular basis. Aides that regularly interact positively with my family member. And a management staff that responds quickly and professionally every time I contact them. The dedicated staff at Tylers Mill Senior Living in Deptford goes above & beyond their job responsibilities. Their compassion, optimism & kindness does not go unnoticed. They are an amazing team & I thank them from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my Dad both physically & emotionally.
