I moved my parents months ago from their lovely home in Venice. We looked at 6 different places and finally decided that Tuscan was the best fit for my parents, my parents are on 2 different levels, so we needed a community that would allow them to stay together in agent place period We were first greeted by the sales. Ladies who were extremely helpful and walked us through the entire process weeks to follow. We met several staff members who we absolutely adore between maintenance housekeeping and the dining and nursing. Everybody has played such a pivotal part in making sure that my parents felt welcomed and I have to say the response from all of the staff when needed has been fantastic. We are pleased with our decision

I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. We moved my mother here from a dilapidated facility where she was not getting appropriate care. Not only is the staff incredible —especially Barbara, who heads up the activities department. Barb treats all the elderly like one of her own and truly loves what she does. She has been a godsend in my life being that I live across country from my mother. I know that she will always be in the best of care at Tuscan Gardens. I also want to praise the entire staff, including the director Anne for making this place what it is. Not only is it beautiful and clean but they have so many wonderful activities. The food is delicious & I highly recommend this for anyone that’s looking for an assisted living facility for their loved one. ❤️
My family and I put my grandmother at Tuscan Gardens knowing it would not be a smooth transition. Everyone from the Executive Director, Marketers, Nursing, Maintenance, and Activities helped facilitate my Grandmother with becoming comfortable and assisting her with her transition. We could not be any more pleased with her moving to a new environment. My grandmother is participating in Activities and is adjusting quite well. Kudos Tuscan Gardens for helping our family and most importantly my Grandmother.
Curiously, although our family member's need for care was not a good fit for Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay, we want to offer a strong recommendation for this facility. Mackenzie as Tuscan Gardens' representative went far above and beyond to assist us with our situation. Executive Director Anne paid a special visit to help us sort out options and provided expert assessment regarding our family member's needs. They have our highest respect. This is one special place, and though it is gorgeous, it stands out due to it's knowledgeable, compassionate staff.
After a long search, we finally found the perfect place for my mother-in-law. The assisted living facility she had been at—a large national chain—had steadily declined over the past five years. For the last two years, my wife and her sister visited numerous facilities, determined to find a place where their mom would truly be happy. But time after time, something was missing. Their mom was understandably reluctant to move. She had deep emotional ties to her apartment—it's where she had lived with her late husband, and leaving it felt like leaving part of him behind. Then they discovered Tuscan Gardens. From the moment they walked in, everything felt different. The staff was warm and welcoming. The community was immaculate, bright, and full of charm, with cozy nooks and inviting spaces around every corner. They spoke with residents who genuinely loved living there—and it showed. Still, the biggest test was introducing the idea to their mom. They brought her to visit... and she lit up. She loved it! The decision was made, and she moved in shortly after. Now? She’s thriving. She has a big smile on her face every day. She’s surrounded by friendly, caring staff in a beautiful, healthy environment. For our family, it’s been a huge relief. We finally have peace of mind knowing she’s not just “getting by” but actually enjoying her days. That confidence and comfort are priceless. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Tuscan Gardens! And a special shoutout to Barb, the activities director—she’s an absolute gem. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and she takes the time to personally connect with each resident. We love watching her in action when we visit. :)
