Nice place, the prices like most places seem to be creeping up every other month. Love the staff, the food is good Mon-Fri, weekends seem like another story. It doesn't have that smell like most places. It's clean and maintained. The bathroom sliding pocket doors are too heavy to slide open and closed. I felt like my mom is getting what she needs. Do your homework when deciding what's best for your family.

I would recommend River Run Assisted Living to anyone looking for a smaller community with a caring staff. My mother lived at River Run for a year until her passing. They have the utmost care and compassion for their residents. The food is good and the facility is clean. It's easy for residents to get around the building and it is all on 1 level with no elevators or stairs. It is decorated nice for holidays and special occasions. The courtyard is beautiful. I must compliment the Management- Tonya went above and beyond as my mother's dementia progressed. The nurses and care staff were amazing and always available for her and us the family also for updates on her condition. The activities director, Sharon was always so upbeat and positive and always had a fun activity going on or in the works. Their rates are fair and a good value. I cannot thank them enough and will be forever grateful for all they did to take care of Mom. Teri Armes
This company is atrocious as employers and care providers. Residents go weeks without showers due to ether staff not wanting to do the showers or because management fails to provide proper staffing to safely conduct those showers. Staff, mostly med tech staff are improperly trained meaning they train new med techs for 1-2 before throwing them in their own to figure things out then have the new med techs train other new med techs. New staff with no care expirience often get paid higher wages then someone with years of expirience or people who have worked here for over 5 years. Supervisor live off a power trip including kiah, in fact she's probably the one who responded to her own comment considering she has access to all the company's social account and handles pretty much all that stuff. Day shift care givers are a bunch of bullies and will run off any new staff that they can. This place has a very high turn over rated and just the little time I have been here, I have watched over 10 people quit without notice due to the hostility, unfairness and flat out lack of care or concern over their employees and residents. They play favorites with everyone and will talk bad about anyone they can behind their backs. Worst case of high school drama I have ever witnessed from a bunch of adults. This place should be shut down!
River Run Place did a phenomenal job taking care of our mother. She lived there for almost two years, and she was treated with respect throughout her time by the staff. They treated her compassionately and built a strong relationship with her during her time there. They accommodated her eating needs. They answered questions efficiently and effectively, whether on the phone or in person. They were precise with her medicine and adjusted when prescribed by the doctor. Although our mother was not looking forward to entering assisted-living, River Run Place was outstanding and helped make the transition a positive experience for her and our family.
River Run Place is an assisted living facility that has a wonderful and caring staff! No matter how beautiful a place is, if the staff is unhappy or has a high turnover, than the resident's suffer. River Run has an outstanding staff, and my Dad is treated with warmth, and respect. I thank each and every one of these fabulous caregivers!
