Mansfield Place treats you and your loved one like family. We understand that choosing assisted living can be a difficult decision. However; when you come to Mansfield place we welcome you in as family, and truly have the best care & compassion for your loved one. Is food important to your loved one? We cook all our foods fresh. (No frozen foods) While you are here, try Olga's fresh baked cookies! They are the best! What makes us different? We "Age in place". What that means is; we allow the resident to age gracefully here and as their needs progress we allow them to stay here in their community. Some communities might send them to a memory unit, or skilled facility. We allow them to "age in place" here so they don't have to move again. We can do hoyer lifts, 2 assist, all the way to hospice as well. We understand that a move is hard to make. We want this to be the only move they have to make. Come see us at Mansfield Place!
Very clean and welcoming facility. Amy Mullins is amazing and will do whatever she can to make you feel at home. Definitely highly recommended for long term and/or respite stays.
A nice, clean, comfortable community for loved ones in the autumn years of life. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. The environment is well kept and cared for. The rooms can be cramped but it really depends on how much furniture is put in the space.
Mom was a resident here for a while after having a bad fall at her house. She could not stay on her own any longer, so she moved in here. The place seemed very nice. She had her own apartment that was very nice. The staff kept it very clean. Personally, I thought they were a little lacking on the activities they provided for the residents, but it could be that she just didn't take advantage of what they offered. I visited her late in the afternoon every day, so I was frequently there when they would come to get her for dinner. The food always looked good. She said it was good but that they served pasta too often. I guess you can't please everyone. The staff were always friendly and helpful if I asked any questions or needed their help. Mom seemed pretty happy living here. Because she had her own apartment, they were able to take some of her furniture from the house and fix it up to be familiar and comfortable for her. Overall, it seemed like a good place should you need an assisted living facility. The only thing I was less than thrilled about was the security. You had to ring the bell and wait for soneone to let you in, ok, I understand that, but frequently there were no staff members near the front when you got there, so you would wait, and wait until someone was available. Then when you were ready to leave, you had to get someone to let you out again. So it was the same all over again, but I suppose that amount of security is needed in that type of facility. It definately kept people from wandering out of the building. There was a nicely decorated and maintained courtyard that they could go into anytime they wanted if they wanted fresh air. Overall, very nice place with great employees. Kept very clean and well maintained.
