I have been visiting the rehabilitation wing at Town and Country every day for a little over a week, and I am very pleased with the staff, policies, and cleanliness of the facility. All the staff is friendly and helpful. They come by each room regularly to check on things, and will answer any questions we have. I feel confident that family is well taken care of at Town and Country.

I came into the facility to visit the mother of my friend. It was my first visit. The front desk staff took the time physically show me to the room. When I was ready to leave staff made sure that I was directed towards the exit. Staff were quick to come and open the door for me to leave. I truly felt welcome in the facility by each staff member.
My visit at Town and Country was great. There's an amazing lady who works there named Ms. Amita Ann. I hope I'm spelling her name correctly and that she doesn't mind my highlighting her as a wonderful employee, although everyone has been sweet that I've met there. She stands out because I've always noticed that she is kind, soft-spoken, no- nonsense, visible, vigilant and interactive. It's evident that Ms. Amita Ann is very passionate about her work and her job seems to be more like a ministry to her. She saw me today from my last visit a couple of weeks ago. She was immediately able to tell me from memory where my loved one was located since she moved from one wing to another wing. She knew the exact room from memory without my having to ask. I watched her during my last visit, when a visitor (who was the family member of a resident who was in their facility years ago). The lady asked her if she remembered who she was. She thought for a few seconds, then the lady was elated when she was able to recall who she was, as well as her loved one from years ago. I've watched her over time and I absolutely love the fact that she knows and loves our residents who are entrusted to her care. The new system (administration) requires families, everyone to sign in. I appreciate that they set up a small desk close to the door, so there is someone there to help if needed. Oh yes they also work with the community to keep their residents engaged. I daw two activities: Uncle Richard's House, a puppet show and most recently, Free Bingo, where they gave away wonderful prizes.
I’m so glad my uncle Bill choose to be at this facility (Town and Country) for his health and rehabilitation needs! I visited relatives and a few other nursing homes in this one never smells like they’ve ever cleaned and never smells like it’s never clean. My first visit there was during my uncles lunch and they served my mom and I complementary lunches so we can sit and eat lunch with my uncle and there was no charge and they were so kind to us! They went out of their way to make sure that we knew that our loved one was being cared for and looked after. During my visits, any staff member that I ask about my uncle…. they know his name and they know his current condition and they share that with us freely because they know that they are doing a great job taking care of all of his needs and making sure he’s safe and comfortable and getting everything he needs to get as well as he can while he is in their care. Thank you to all the staff at Town and Country for helping my uncle Bill know that he is safe and cared for and wanted there, it’s so important for a patient to know they are loved and respected by all the staff. One thing that I like to do when I walk through the halls of this place is make sure I talk to the other residence and let them know that they are seen, a friendly smile and a warm hello means the world to them. The staff is always very accommodating and friendly. Whenever you ask a question about anything or where you can find something, they are eager to help you as much as possible. The rooms and toiletries are always spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to use Town & Country Health & Rehab in Minden Louisiana again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 6 star review in my opinion.
