We made the preemptive decision to move here while we were still social and able-bodied. Best decision we ever made. No mess no fuss for the children, have met a whole new family of friends who are anxious to make friends. We call it our “ 365 day all inclusive resort”. I would encourage anyone to check it out before they have no more choices and have to move.

Very nice retirement homes and apartments for seniors but also extremely expensive so the average retiree can't afford. Delicious food and beautiful grounds with walking paths, dog parks and pond with seating area. If you can afford to live there count yourself blessed!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Izzy B. and the incredible care she provides in the memory care unit. Her dedication to making each resident feel valued and truly cared for is unparalleled. Izzy always goes the extra mile, whether it’s helping with grooming requests or taking the time to connect with residents on a personal level. Her positive attitude and compassionate demeanor create a warm and welcoming environment that is so crucial in memory care. Izzy is a shining example of what it means to be a caregiver, and it’s clear that she genuinely loves what she does. Families can rest easy knowing their loved ones are in such capable and caring hands. Thank you, Izzy, for all you do—you are a true blessing!
Eleven months ago, my husband and I faced a big decision. Our doctor encouraged us because of my husband’s failing health to consider a transition to independent living in a place that had graduated care. We looked at eight different facilities in the Boise area. It started with Madison in marketing who took a personal interest in us and our dog, Baxter. It didn’t take long to see the difference at Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village was by far the best possible choice. I’ve been asked by some people what is my favorite part of living here? For both my husband and me, it is without question the wonderful staff that we interact with each day. We know all the servers by name and count them as part of our Touchmark family. They make us smile and bring joy to everyone. Derek, Leah, Genevieve, Haddie, Bella, Victoria, Silas, Micah, Daniel, Ava, Abby, Elijah, Monia, Isha and many more…Thank you so much! Our dining room supervisor, Dawn is constantly working to make dining a good family oriented experience with quality service. Mack, as Director will plan parties or family gatherings that are top notch. Laura, Jen, Chase and Carol are the team that make the Health and Fitness team a wonderful place to heal, have fun and grow stronger. There are so many enriching experiences available. I wanted to learn something new and so I joined the Ukulele group. What fun this group has been! We play every week. Now I never want to miss it! There are so many wonderful people here. The front desk workers, Kit is just one, but all are exceptional. I love the great work our housekeepers do. Joy and Lourdes are quality gals and workers. The bus driver is kind who gives a ride when my husband had knee surgery and overdid it walking. The home Health care workers like Karol are dedicated to caring for those residents who need extra care and support. We even have a resident Geriatric Dr. Megan DuNay who is one of only six in Idaho. She Is the best doctor we’ve ever had! The best part are the wonderful new friends that share all these experiences as a family every day including Chapel and Bible studies, as well as, a common bond that has been created because we’re all in the same place and time of life. Touchmark has a vision for these being our best years as well as our last stages of life. What makes all of this work, I believe is the vision, values and training that happens each and every day under the leadership of our Director, Jill Berry. This excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity and compassion are what drive every staff member each day. These allies, friends and givers are what make every day a Touchmark day.
