It is one of the best places in all of Alaska! Staff is efficient, caring and always pleasant!! Carl and lyra stand out especially! Rooms are kept clean, residents well cared for and checked on often. The food served is beyond excellent. There is always help for the residents in the dining room! Ryan is very helpful in the dining room!

I'm the new bus driver and I sometimes assist in activities and am stoked to be a part of this crew. My predecessor was well liked and excellent at his job. Big shoes to fill, but these amazing residents are in my corner and extremely helpful in my day to day duties.Yeah, it sucks getting old, and I would be less than ecstatic about needing the care that the staff provides, but the way the Care Staff interracts with the residents is truly inspiring. I see big things happening here all the time. When you see a young care worker delicately wipe the mouth of an elderly woman unable to speak, clearly in the twilight of her life...that little act can only come from the heart. I see the best of humanity every day here. Yeah, 2 weeks is barely getting my feet wet, but in this 2 weeks I have seen more greatness in people than I have in my life of 58 years. I just felt compelled to write this review and hope that it helps you in your quest to solve a very delicate matter in your family or personal life.
Moving here was my folks idea, and they absolutely love it. The social aspect has certainly been a plus at their age, as they now have neighbors close to visit with. They enjoy the interaction with the staff, all the activities they can participate in. As their oldest son, I really enjoy all the different themed events that are held for residents and their families. I hope when I become the appropriate age, there is room for me! Haha.
If you have a family member with more care needs, this is not the place for them. I regularly see their residents out on the street almost getting hit with no one watching them, mind you these are seniors who can barely see or hear and there was recently one of them hit and killed on the side of the road. Not a safe place for loved ones who need to be secure. Practically negligent Edit: no it wasn’t an error, since I can’t reply. Yall are next to university right? Yea I know because I’ve had to call troopers on Randy (the deaf one that uses a whiteboard at dinner) before because he was sitting by the light at university. I’ve had to stop and put Veronica in my car because she fell down by the train tracks on university.
We love Timber Creek, the staff are so kind and helpful. My mom really loves living at Timber Creek
