I want to tell about my experience of the Woodleigh. The first impression that I had was with a nurse who came to the hospital and explained to what to expect about the facility. I explained to him that I had opened heart surgery. Because of my particular situation he sent an ambulance to pick me up for safety. The menu was very good with options. I had some concerns about my weekend experiences. On Monday I discussed them with my nurse Courtney. She listened to all my concerns and took care of them all .She said she would send management personally to discussed them with me. Later that day I talk to the supervisor on charge and she was attentive to my concerns. I am handicapped with one leg. I thought I would be in bed the whole time while I was there. I went to physical therapy to work with Pat . Who worked on strengthing my leg.The next person I work with first came to my room and we talked about my damage right vocal cord and how to address the issue. In the physical therapy room we work on breathing exercises to help me. The next staff member went to the laptop and came up with a program tailored specifically for me. We worked with 2 pounds of weight and did curls. We also work with a bicycle petals to improve my endurance . I was surprised with all the thought that went in my personal care. What ever was important to me was important to the staff. When I went back to my bed I could feel the workout and could the difference between the before and after physical therapy experience. When I came back to my room I didn't like the dinner we were given. I asked Courtney was anything we could do about it. Courtney asked would I like a sandwich I said yes. Before she went home she brought me 2 sandwiches potato chips and personal with her personal money brought me a 16 ounce tea. I can't describe how satisfied l am with my decision to come to the Woodleigh. In closing I also observed the care and attention that the staff gave to the senior citizens which was outstanding.

Absolutely amazing place. The entire staff is outstanding. They have made this difficult decision a smooth process and it is comforting to know and see that your loved one is being cared for properly, with dignity and kindness. Every single staff member that I have encountered has been very helpful, kind and so willing to answer any questions with a smile. They are very efficient. PT, OT, speech therapy all in helping my loved one move forward. There are scheduled meetings regularly with family to review and evaluate Plan of Care. The food is very good and the facility is clean. All the way from management down to housekeeping have been exceptional. I know that when I or another family member are not there, that our loved one is still being cared for in the same manner as when we are there. And that is comforting. I have also witnessed their interactions with other patients, and I have nothing but praise for this facility. No doubt a safe and caring environment for your loved one.
This facility is absolutely AMAZING!!!! During my father's stay here he was treated with dignity, respect, and well taken care of. The entire staff is AWESOME!!! I visited the facility several times at different times of the day, and each time I went there the facility was nice and clean, no smells, the staff was always very polite, professional, and caring, and the residents were moving around, socializing, etc. I truly appreciate the care, love, and support the staff gave to my father. He was truly treated like family and not just a resident or an old person. If anyone is seeking care for their loved ones The Woodleigh should be number 1 on your list.
I received excellent Dr. Nursing and therapy care @ this facility👍.All my therapy to home needs were met, with professionalism and compassion. The CNA'S were particularly of good care concern to myself and other patients. Activities for patients was FUN and well executed by our WONDERFUL(ACTIVITIE COORNATOR) Ms. Victoria. I can say that the kitchen staff is GREAT. THE FOOD-DELICIOUS. I would like to thank ALL STAFF-for the help toward my healing,to home♥️👍 Ms Valerie Williams🙏💪
Having to deal with a nursing home situation is never easy, but I should not have been concerned with Woodleigh. The case workers were very informative. they answered any question I had, even though some seemed very redundant or trivial, they were patient in answering. The nursing staff was the same way, kind and understanding, trying to ensure that everyone involved was comfortable.
