They take excellent care of their clients and guest. Its always clean I haven't ever smelled any bodily fluids at this facility. The staff is polite and concerned. I hope someone takes care of me like they take care of my grandmother 👵🏾

The Woodlands of Shaker is not just a facility ,it's also is the beginning of an awesome new journey filled with new opportunities and new adventures waiting each day for our residents. Our staff is very caring and considerate. I have seen the seniors that come to our communities transition quickly, making new friends, knowing staff members by name, and feeling appreciated.
Communication is lacking and not consistent. They are understaffed. Staff was rude and not helpful Management is just as rude as some of the staff. If you ask questions or want updates on your love one they make they become defensive and combative. They make you feel like the criminal! I’ve had a horrible experience dealing with this facility down to the very last minute. My grandmother died and nobody even called to tell us. After my grandmothers death emailed the director to get the remaining pictures she told me they had thrown them away. I still have the emails of what she said to me. People need to know the truth about this place and not read the fake positive reviews.
Both of my God parents spent 14 months at The Woodlands after he was released from rehab. He was his wifes sole care giver. They were pleased with the care and their individual attention. The staff was professional and patient. The stay was costly to say the least, but worth it for them to be together. They were able to return to their home after their stay at the Woodlands.
Woodland's staff are a very caring. Their staff go over and beyond their job. The residents are always thanking them for their service. Always Finding joy in doing their job.
