My mother has been here for over two years now and we have had a wonderful experience. The care is exceptional and they have significantly improved her quality of life. This facility has something very different here than any other I have experienced. Every staff member from every department is exceptional! They have really helped my mom feel at home.

The Winfield is a wonderful community. The whole team, Joann, Anne, Nicole & nursing staff and aides make the community feel like a home. They truly care for their residents, families and staff. It has been a pleasure to work with them. I highly recommend!
I just love all the nurses and all the employees. They are always nice and always a smile on their face to me and my daughter when we walk in the door. They take great care of my mom! I can always know leaving there that my mom is being cared for and loved! I would recommend them for sure! Love you all!
Over six years ago, we chose The Waterford at Richmond Heights for our Mom. We truly feel we could not have made a better choice. Mom received excellent care and everyone treated her well. Mom was truly happy throughout her years in this community. She enjoyed countless activities, parties, music events, holiday events… and she loved the food. Thank you for the consistently great work you do for the residents of this wonderful facility.
This facility just continues to go downhill. Today our Aunt was in a wheelchair all day instead of being put in her chair. Apparently she had slid out of her chair so the easy solution was to leave her in her wheelchair. The staff is responsible for putting in her hearing aids in the morning, but if she forgets to remind them then it doesn't happen. Today was one of those days. This is just the tip of the ice berg. There are days when they have made her bed over top of wet bed pads, days when they have not made up her bed and days when the top sheet is under the fitted sheet. The list goes on and on. They will over fill the washer with 4 urine soaked bed pads, sheets, and pajamas so we then must split the load and rewash them. We keep adding and taping up instructions in her apartment because it would seem some of the employees lack common sense or just don't care. Now, the first thing we must do upon arrival is to check her bed and then the washer and dryer. A good hour or more is spent doing things that should be done by the aids. We have had meetings and phone conversations. Things improve for a week and then gradually go right back to how it has been. We have been there many times when our Aunt has pressed her pendent because she has to go to the restroom and has waited for as long as an hour. The only reason our Aunt remains at this facility is because she just doesn't want to move and at 93 years old, who can blame her. The owner of the company would better serve its residents by visiting and possibly speaking to them directly. Now, having said all of the above, there are several outstanding aids employed there, we only wish those women were our Aunt's care givers all the time.
