My mother moved into The Willow in August for a month of respite. It was apparent to the family that it would be best for her to stay there, but she really wanted to go home at the end of the month. But by that time, she realized it wasn't in her best interest to live alone, and willingly decided to make it her permanent place. After a week of adjusting to the idea of no longer living in her own home anymore, she said "It feels like home!" The staff has been great to her. The Willow has had some challenges, but has been working hard making changes and creating a very family-oriented feeling. Depending who you talk to, you may not get a 5 star review, but The Willow keeps getting better and better - the food is one of the things that has greatly improved (my mother has nothing but praise for the cook they have acquired, even though it does depend on your individual tastes, and some people can't be suited no matter what you give them). They have a lot of activities if you want to keep busy or be social, and very nice rooms to spend your time in if you are tired or just like to be alone. If you are not sure where you or your loved one should go, I recommend giving them a one month respite try. If you are seriously looking for a place to call home, you may home found it. For a personal opinion, talk to my mother. Ask for the lady who likes to play the piano and gave her piano to The Willow. They can help you find her.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Willow. the facility and the staff have been wonderful and met all my expectations. they put up with me and my family taking three tours and Wendy - my main contact there has always had a personal touch - with the transition of my dad and selling his home and moving him from out of state to have someone who genuinely cared was priceless - THANKS WENDY! I've been there many times in the last three weeks getting my dad moved in and the other thing i noticed is that everyone of the staff i run into is friendly and kind and takes the time to introduce themselves. my dad had originally chosen another larger asst living facility and were on a waiting list.we had toured 6 places and the willow was in my dads top 2. Since we had been waiting about 7 weeks My dad changed his mind and we ended up at the willow. It really was fate and meant to be - we love the fact that its not a huge facility and the care seems much more personal and they have a very manageable number of rooms. thanks to everyone for being so great. i've attached a pic of my dads room after we moved him in. the room is also a very nice size. We are all very pleased and best of all my dad loves it - after 63 years of marriage him being on his own after my mom passed for three years was tough - in hind site we probably should have moved him 2 years sooner. its like he has a life again.!!! again thanks everyone at the Willow for all you do!!
My mother stayed at the Willows for one month in Respite. The dining was good and Joy was very friendly and would bend over backwards to meet the needs of the residents. However, that is the only good thing I have to say about the Willows. No one seemed to care enough to even supply the very minimal services to her. Their prices are very high compared to other facilities. I moved my mother to Steeplechase which is a much nicer facility with loads of activities for the residents. She is much happier there.
Very happy Krystal is at the willows. She is making a better place to be at. Keep up the good work 👍 like the changes. Residents seem happier.
I just wanted to share that I'm the new ED at this community and been in senior living for over 15 years. I use to be a care giver and I understand what your love one is looking for. All I ask give us a shot and we do whatever it takes to make your love one happy. This place is very clean and has great outside views to it. Also the care here is very good. So come on down and let me show you what we can do for your love one. Thanks
