When my wife was a patient at Waters of Bristol I was so impressed with the excellent care she received. All of the doctors, nurses, CNA's and staff were so attentive to her needs. I noticed how everyone was so helpful to all of the residents there. The facility was always clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend the Waters of Bristol to anyone looking for a long term care or a rehabilitation facility.

If I could give this building 10 STARS I would. Had it not been for the skills and attention of the nursing staff at Bristol I would not have my mother with us now. My mother was a very high risk post op Cardiac Patient when she admitted and they were able to detect on 2 different occasions very subtle changes that prompted them to send her to the hospital. On both occasions my mother could have died within 24 hours had they not acted. I can never thank the staff at this facility for giving my mother and our family EXCEPTIONAL care while she was there. The therapy staff is amazing as well. When she arrived she could barely walk to the bathroom and the day she left she making laps around the building with her Rollator. It was apparent to my entire family that visited daily over the course of 6 weeks that this facility and its Administrator truly were called to take care of people in need like my Mother. Thank you Waters of Bristol!
I went to Waters of Bristol after having an aorta valve replacement, cardiac arrest, and pacemaker. Over a 43 day period I was hospitalized 4 times, had 6 units of blood and at Waters of Bristol in between hospital stays. I could never have imagined the care I received there. You think of nursing homes in a negative way sometimes because we don't ever go there. But I couldn't do anything for myself when I first arrived there, but the nursing staff took total care of me and never made me feel humiliated. Just the opposite, they made me feel like a loving family. They nursed me back to health and gave me a second chance in life. I am 70 yrs old and at one point I felt I would never be able to gain strength and stamina I needed to go home. But thanks to the nurses, CNAs, doctors, NPs, Physical Therapists, the DON, Administrators and rest of the staff I came home. I give credit to everyone I encountered during my stay there for getting me well, not only in body but also in mind. The upbeat encouragement from the staff kept me moving forward and never giving up. I thank them all today for what they did for me at Waters of Bristol. I've been home 6 weeks and when I think about my time spent at their facility, I do it with fond memories.
Now I will state up front that I was at an advantage in that I lived across the 4 lane from the facility when my mother lived in the Waters for the last 14 months of her life. Mom had no dementia no decline even at 81years old. She could not walk or hear anymore so I needed the Waters at the end. I was able to be there every day and twice on weekends so the staff knew me well. I had no issues with the Waters and when I did I went to supervisors and immediately got it fixed. Mom was not happy of course when she went into the facility but the care and love and communication she got eventually softened her heart and she knew she would be ok. Was the food always good, no but who is perfect, I cooked for mom or brought her favorite diner food when needed. The cleaning was good and when it was not again staff heard me clearly, I also helped cleaned my mom's room. In the end mom died with me and the staff by her side laying on a clean bed in a clean room and being hand bathed by her son and the staff with her dignity intact. You want perfection get your sorry butt into the facility more often and help take care of your loved one I do not care how far away you live. Communicate with the staff and let them know you appreciate the work and dedication it takes to run this facility in a world that does not appreciate the dying or the understaffed facility it takes to keep people safe and clean and dignified.
Neglectful The waters of Bristol had my grandma in there after her surgery of getting her leg amputated left her in a room did nothing with her. Had her in a room where she was sweating so bad that sweat was dripping into her incision I just wanna say now she’s in the ICU and almost died on us last night so congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 for doing absolutely nothing. Y’all suck how can you genuinely treat people like that 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 if you’re just in it for the money, please just find a different profession you’re messing with people‘s lives. You have their lives in your hands (some nurses are better than others but granite if you can’t be consistent, it doesn’t matter at all )so be aware if you care about your loved ones do not send them here
