Clean facility, father- in law's unit always clean and fresh. His laundry is done daily and his clothing never "lost." Spacious apartments, appetizing food, and plenty of snacks provided around the clock. The memory care unit is truly safe for those with dementia. Friendly, caring staff.
How are you only going to have 1 aide to 87 residents on nights the nurse had 116! Oh this was not just call offs, they staff this way! Soooo very unethical and irresponsible of management! This is a private pay facility meaning they pay out of pocket for the care they do not recive!! How could they receive proper care at that ratio! They have a decent amount of more skilled residents 20 to be exact! Out of that 87, 20 needed at the minimum changed! I took off the unit that night 6 65 gal bags of trash! So much inconvenience supplies, there were no gloves in the rooms! This is horrible considering how beautiful this facility is! Do better waterford! You outta be ashamed of yourself!
My mother-in-law just moved in two days ago and so far we are VERY HAPPY with all aspects of the care she’s receiving!
I want to give the staff caring for the residents and those maintaining the facility special recognition for their hard work and effort. I feel in general the staff at the waterford are caring and strive to make the lives of the residents as comfortable as possible. As far as the facility itself I think the flooring needs addressed. I am in hopes that they will change out the old carpets and replace with something more sanitary and durable considering the use that it gets. Overall I feel my concerns are always addressed and my experience is positive. Thank you again for all the hard work!
