The nursing staff is pretty great including CNA's and activities. It was a good place overall but they are very short staffed and at times need more supervision for the residents especially in the memory care unit. The admin is why I gave 2 stars, we had a meeting about my dad's care and was told we needed to find a place that could accommodate him better. Weeks went by with no response on the issue. My dad and another resident was put at risk when a situation arose which could have been avoided. If someone is out they need to find another person to step in and continue to help run things. The ball was majorly dropped. I hope they can get staffed up and help the people who are truly trying to care for the residents!!!

Let me tell you...First, my mother is sent there for rehab....I find a place out in Colorado Springs (closer to me since this is where I live) for her to relocat when her therapy is over. You cannot trust this place when you live an hour and a half away. And when you visit, the staff has left the resident in their rooms alone (when they're IMMOBILE) and find water all over the floor next to their bed (TRIP HAZARD FOR A DEMENTIA RESIDENT) even if it was only a few minutes, this is a terrifying thing to see. And when your juggling so many things you have to do (my father passed and I've had to take care of his end of things as well) you would hope communicating wouldn't be so difficult, but then it takes being Assertive and Persistent to get them to even so much as email you or do their end of the leg work! I am floored by this facility and wonder just how it is they skate by with the government since they accept Medicare. And when it's time for the resident to move they give you a time frame and then when you expect them to arrive soon, it's been 4 hours and you find out from the driver they left 2 hours prior to the residents arrival. Do not send your loved ones to this facility if you live out of the city. And if you do live in the city, visit your loced one regularly because again, you cannot trust this facility.
READ READ READ If you care about your parents. I don’t have many good things to say about this place. My mother was brought here for rehab after she broke her leg. She was took to a dirty room and left there with no explanation, welcome, or anything and left in her room all night with another person who was on deaths door. She calls me crying next morning, I show up to see everything. There was blood on the ceiling from who knows where, her room was 88 degrees and the brought her a box fan to put it on the floor. They made her wet herself because they were not there to help her to the bathroom. I immediately get administration and they definitely did realize they messed up. Pretty bad. Put her in a personal room to try to remedy but then the nurses were forcing her to wear a diaper when she is not incontinent. I have about flipped my lid on multiple occasions at this place over the most basic of human care and rights. Her PT schedule is not followed. They tried to skip her on one of her two shower days she gets a week. I about lost it on that one. Hot water heater was out for days. Sooooo nobody got to shower. This just scratches the surface of what my poor mother has endured at this excuse of a facility. I’ve over heard the nurses complaining about call outs. They are tired. Even other residents I have talked with in the facility know how bad it is. They only care about money here. It is so obvious the patients come second. You can even tell they make fake reviews here on good and tell there employees to go and make positive reviews. It’s disgusting. This place will be shut down. Complaints have been filed with the proper agencies. Do not send your loved ones here. You will regret it, I’m not exaggerating. About any of this. it is actually insane and feels like a horror movie in there. I could only imagine what happens to some of the old people that dont have a advocate or cannot speak up themselves. If I could give 0 starts o would.
This place is amazing, clean. Professional staff. The care they give to the patients is great. My Uncle is in a great place and I know he is being taken care of with the best staff. Please keep up the wonderful care.
