My father in law had to move here for 2 weeks after hospital stay to recover from pneumonia and low oxygen levels. We had not toured this facility and just chose it based on Medicare reviews. Our experience was outstanding! From the checkin to the checkout process, everything was very efficient. The nurses and the staff were very caring and responsive. They were on top of everything including his vegetarian diet restrictions. The PT and OT staff was amazing too. Attending doctor, Dr. Thaper answered all our questions patiently. Overall a fantastic experience.

This nursing home is one of the most ridiculous places. My mother was there for seven months. Her condition get worsened. My mother got covid this place and the same time They lost her dentures and abuse her for two months because she couldn't eat any more food. This made her even thinner and weaker. They took no responsibility for it. The administration there name is alicia she's very unprofessional and attitude and so rude she's the one we already reported her i would not recommend this place to anyone at all this place is elder abuse.
I was really concerned about this facility for rehab reading past reviews. I took into consideration they were older. We went and visited the facility which still seems to be under construction, but rooms were nice. We moved our mom here for rehab and have been surprisingly pleased. We came everyday to monitor her progress with the facility. It took a few days for the nurses to learn what she needed, and now we are really moving forward. Compared to other rehab facilities, we chose this one for several reasons. It’s connected to the hospital, she has needed X-rays, bloodwork and a few other things, which were available immediately. The PT’s & OTs are EXCELLENT, they are great with communication, and making you feel comfortable to take your loved one home. We have been very impressed with the care, communication with the nurses. The facility is very clean, rooms are very nice. The goal to rehab our mother has been progressing daily and they have been wonderful.
I'm starting to get concerned with how my grandparent is being treated here. Grandparent had a really good day until the evening when 2nd and night staff get involved. I can tell the 2nd shift nurse is putting in slight effort to be nice to my grandparent in front of me, but my grandparent is a coherent person who deserves nothing but respect, patience, and kindness, and grandparent tells us if they are being mistreated. Well guess what? Grandparent told us and this evolving review is the next step. We are here every day for full visitation hours until grandparent is out of here, and that's when the full review comes out. Read your reviews people - Palomar recommends this facility because it's part of their chain, they make more money that way, their daytime staff seems great, afternoon and night staff not so great and you may want to reconsider. Will update this review every day @Palomar, so stay tuned for that and the news article. I know you're watching.
Hard to find. Once you find the address, the temporary construction signs direct you the wrong way. People who work at the health center just point and say, "it's the down there," and "There's no parking, so just walk," when they can see I'm using a walker. When I get to the place, I don't know it's the back. I rang a bell and a couple of nurses I could see working inside ignored me and a manager (?) signaled me to walk around (even though she could see my walker). The walkway is not even, it turns into a drainage ditch and is obstructed by temporary construction fencing that blocks 1/2 the walkway. NOWHERE on the grounds is there a map of the facilities, although I looked at the tall parking garage, at the entrance, on the outside of the villas, on the outside of the hospital, etc. They do not seem to have considered that some residents might have handicapped friends who want to visit them.
