My sister with special needs stayed at the Villas for three weeks. The staff were friendly and competent. Some staff took a special interest in my sister and went out of their way to be friendly and make her feel at home. The occupational and physical therapists were very friendly and helpful. One physical therapist in particular, LeiLani, worked well with my sister! The only negative thing I would mention is the food was not good.
My dad was in the TCU unit of the facility for some rehab after he had a fall. The care he received here was top notch. From the moment we walked in the door. We was greeted by the nursing staff right away. Everything was communicated about my father care. The Admin Sarah is wonderful she make her self available to answer questions and address any concerns you may have. The DON Casey goes above and beyond to make sure that everything that your love ones need is there and if it ain't he going to make sure that they get it. I will bring my dad here again if he ever is to need care again. Thank you all at The Villas at Osseo for making my dad stay AWESOME!!!!!!!!
My grandma was previously at the Villas of Osseo and had a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and caring towards her. She adored the Glenda the CNA who treated her with dignity and respect and calmed her down when she was feeling afraid from her confusion. Sue the social worker was very helpful with discharge planning and therapy helped her to get as strong as possible.
Most of the aides are kind and helpful. But when you question them about something, they always turn it around on you. (We canceled your shower this week because you turned it down last week at, 10:30 pm.) They are always short on staff-1 nurse 2 staff for 20 patients. The food is terrible, absolutely disgusting. When you request an alternate, they cannot remember from meal to meal. The food is unappetizing. Two hard boiled eggs and a piece of cold toast. Most meals are served cold. (They do not have heated plates.) The dishes are frequently served dirty. Left over food stuck on the outside of them. Of great importance is that I am highly allergic to cherry and cherry flavor. Guess what, one night I was served Cherries with desert. It was certainly lucky I noticed them and set them aside.
