200 Greystone Dr, Beaver, WV 25813, United States
I can’t say enough about my experience with The Villages at Greystone. My mother received excellent care and attention during her time in the assisted living side. Everyone was so kind and loving and took extra good care of her until she passed. Several years later, my father had to move from his residence due to Covid. I made a call to Dusty and she found the perfect spot for him in the independent living building. He received outstanding care and was happy to be there. They treat you like family and not one single moment did I ever feel concern about any aspect of his care. EVERYONE is there to help you in any way possible to provide extra special care. They have become my “extra family” my dad loved them all and we appreciate everyday and feel blessed to have had such a wonderful place for Dad to call home.

I'm not sure why some of these people gave Greystone a poor review, but they certainly don't have any idea what they are talking about. I stopped in at Greystone without announcing my visit to get an unbiased opinion of the facility for my mother. The IL facility was clean and the residents looked happy. One of my patients saw me walk in and asked why I was there. I told him I wanted to move my mother to WV so she can be closer to me and she needs extra services that she isn't getting in her current living situation. My patient told me he loved it there and would highly recommend it for my mother. I spoke to several other people (5 in all) and they all told me the same thing. A comparable place in Charlotte costs $2,200 more and doesn't come with the services offered at Greystone. So don't let a disgruntled employee or someone with unrealistic expectations sway your decision to put a loved one in this Independent Living facility. Make that decision for yourself, stop in for a visit and talk to the residents. Again, nothing is 100% perfect, but Greystone IL comes very, very close.
Excellent place to work. Management works with you if you need days off. I find management to be very knowledgeable and caring. They care about their employees and about the care of the residents. Resident care is top priority . Their mental well being and physical well being. Activities is a big part of Greystone. It brings joy to the residents to participate and to have a caring environment full of stimulation. The staff becomes family not only with each other but the residents in which they take care of. I recommend it to others for work and for your loved ones. I would have no hesitation with my loved one being here. If you are a team player who loves taking care of people The Villages at Greystone is a great place to be!!!
Our family has only praise for Greystone and its staff. During my mom’s 2.5 year stay, we met many kind, compassionate people - some who begin to be your family. They are taking care of our loved one. The Inn was kept like a home atmosphere, clean and inviting. The grounds are beautiful and the staff I worked with were great. The animals also make it better. In my experience, each nurse you have, has gone the extra mile for us, always. The Resident Aides’ are invaluable. Nurses and RA’s loved my mom and some were very good friends to me. The kitchen & Activities staff did anything they could to help. My mom loved Bible Study. My brothers and I, our extended family and friends were there a lot. There are always a few “bumps in the road” but any issue we had was always resolved quickly & with compromise we all could live with. I am grateful my parents could afford their care. My mother lost her husband, health and her home in a short period of time. My brothers and I worked full time. We were not enough even with the many advantages we had. Caregiving is a really hard job. I am grateful for the help we received.
I have been employed with the villafes of greystone for over a year now, and I must say it's the best place I have ever worked. Dusty ,amiee, and chauntelle have always went above and beyond for me and their employees . I feel like family not just an employee . The insurance benefits are very good and the atmosphere is friendly and clean .. would recommend this place of employment everytime. The AL is always so clean. Housekeeping is amazing here.
