I have to say that although my mother enjoyed her friends at the village, it was not a great place to deal with after she passed away. Selling her unit was unnecessarily problematic and very much a one way process. No opportunity for negotiations in good faith regarding the sale of the rights. Sales staff were very slow to respond and not client focused at all.
Been hearing some distressing news from residents recently about the draconian restrictions imposed by a new manager (acting on behalf of the owners, presumably). A previously happy and homely environment has become a sterile institution lacking the personal touches of residents. They are worried about what other restrictions will be imposed next…. I wonder what can be done to support this community?
These units are very lovely and spacious. The atmosphere around the grounds is calm, and the other residents i've met seem pleasant. The staff I've encountered in the kitchen area are kind a well, and the overall building structure itself seems like it has a good layout and design.
A friend lives there and unfortunately I only visit. Would love to live there. Always clean and friendly with interesting activities. Vegetable garden is fantastic. Cafe has good fresh food with exceptional service. Great Portugese tarts
