The Village Senior Living is a fantastic facility! The staff and residents are more of a close community and I rave about the staff! Mom love’s living at the village and the care is amazing. The facility itself is impressive! Dining area, Movie theater, even the hallways and rooms are amazing.. Don’t take my word for it- take a tour and see for yourself! The Village Senior Living is the place I definitely recommend.

My mother in law has been living here for 6 months now, and she regularly tells me that she’s the happiest she’s been, since losing her husband 12 years ago. The facility is always clean, there are lots of activities, outings, errand runs and get together for residents. There’s a great chef here, and we regularly come in to enjoy meals with her at no extra charge. The kitchen is very accommodating to each persons preferences. The only downside I see here is that there’s a lot of turnover of employees, and the main doors lock from the outside at 6pm and they do not provide keys, so getting back in after that can take a long time.
My dad was given metoprolol at the village, even when his blood pressure was already very low. The staff checked his BP beforehand and still administered it. According to my mom, his medication was never withheld for safety, even when his BP was in the 70s or 80s. Unfortunately, my mom wasn’t familiar enough with the risks to question them. This raises serious concerns about whether the staff truly understands the medications they administer or the dangers of hypotension. He ended up in the ER with a BP of 60/30 and an eGFR of 15, meaning his kidneys had nearly stopped functioning due to the low blood pressure. Thankfully, his kidney function improved as his BP stabilized, but the situation could have been catastrophic. He was hospitalized after a fall, which was likely caused by his dangerously low BP. If he hadn’t fallen, we might never have realized what was happening—putting his life at risk due to poor training and oversight. I would strongly caution anyone considering this facility for a loved one.
It has been a grand adventure working at the Village. The residents can be so funny and fun to talk with. I appreciate the team effort of our staff. We rock! We make it happen everyday for our residents, making sure their needs are met. Thanks everyone! You are appreciated! 😃
The village senior living, I noticed all reviews are coming from the employees, directors, everyone but families of loved ones reviews from families from a loved one that currently resides in your facility, very unprofessional and half the employees no longer work there. Next problem is that your not open to suggestions not even for daily care routines that involve hygiene or physical exercise that betters our loved ones with better mobility mobilty, you don't even provide foods that cater your clients or residents with proper food that cater to their diets needs whether they are diabetic or have high blood pressure or cholesterol. Not to mention there is nothing about your facility in person that resembles anything for memory care, and your always keeping them in their rooms, I don't think that's appropriate, I will be making a complaint beyond your facility to state report lack of care shortage of staff, it's not bringing your problems to work and complain there is not enough people that you lessen the care for our loved ones.
