It was time for our 84 year old Dad to make the transition from living alone with difficulties to moving into an Assisted Living facility. We visited a few places without him to narrow the choices down but right from our first tour of The Villa we had a good feeling about it. They showed us around, answered every question and just made us feel very comfortable. They then set us up to have Dad come by and check the place out and meet the head nurse for an evaluation. She was great and after that second meeting we were all even more enthusiastic about the Villa. With her help and the help of the new Community Relations Director we got all the paperwork together and had Dad moved in within two weeks. The Villa is a very beautiful, well put together Assisted Living residence out at the edge of the Hamptons. Dad is very happy, he has made new friends already and the staff is so good at helping with his needs. Everyone is so friendly!! With 3 great meals a day in their 'restaurant', daily activities to keep everyone busy, all the help and medical assistance necessary and just a great overall feeling of Home it has been an easy transition for him. We highly recommend The Villa at Westhampton.

PROTECT YOUR LOVED ONES: This place hires people who may be nice, but there is serious neglect that happens behind closed doors. The director from the facility does not make people accountable, and staff are not by any means following procedures when there are no visitors. I was told from an inside source that they do not follow strict dietary restrictions or follow family wishes. One woman was taken out for a trip against her family's request, then was left with no staff when she was soiled and had to sit in her excrement for an hour on the ride back. Another person was fed shellfish who was leathally allergic. They openly admitted they have not had their cameras working and are not taking any steps to fix them. The manager allowed people who are unqualified to assist in tasks. There was an aid who was giving a diabetic who had a thicken restriction OREOS and COFFEE. The high level dementia patients were made to engage with crafts that could be poisonous if ingested. This place needs to seriously be investigated- especially management. Please protect your loved ones..
My Father in Law was here for 7 months and it was a great experience for him and us as his family members. He was is great hands. They couldn’t have been more helpful with all of the difficult decisions you have to make during this time. We saw and felt that leaving the care to the staff of the Villas was the right choice. This isn’t a mass facility but rather a cozy and safe place that feels like home. They were always so welcoming and helpful to us we can’t recommend them enough. My mom left her cherished home of sixty years that my father built himself to live at the Villa because she could no longer live by herself. She was not looking forward to her new home but she really loves it now! The Villa's beautiful and safe environment, professional staff of all levels, its caring attitude, and ability to provide for every need my mom has now is exceptional. She and we, her two daughters, couldn't be more pleased! Highly recommend The Villa at Westhampton to a loved one!
My mother moved into the Villa two years ago. The Villa has provided a safe, attractive, well staffed environment where my Mother is well cared for and thriving. We no longer have to worry about my Mother living on her own. They do their utmost to accommodate my Mother as her needs change. We are very happy that our Mother is at the Villa.
