If I could do MINUS 5 stars I would. Things are stolen constantly including food that only staff should be able to access. New chef, the food is even worse now. Some of these people have no family. Can’t tell me the kitchen staff isn’t getting bonuses from saving on costs. I wouldn’t feed my dog what these residents are forced to eat. See pics below

This is a great facility while my stay here. Staff is great and kind and are always on alert. Facility is always clean and updated on everything. Thanks to everybody that helped me with my therapy and took great care of me. I recomend The Terrace, its a great place ! Most of my body was paralized because of a tumor removed on left side of cerebral and thanks to the therapists and staff I'm back 100% normal. Could'nt treat me better !
Had my mother stay there for rehabilitation wonderful place. I was so happy with this facility . Want to thank housekeeping,Cna, Rn for taking good care of my mom.
Coming in on the weekends to visit my grandmother is definitely a joy. The weekend receptionist Valerie is an absolute treasure. There’s never a time I come in and I’m not greeted with a smile. Every time I come in, I overhear the residents, CNAs/RNs and other visitors speak of how pleasant and kind she is and it’s the truth! Thank you, Valerie for making all those you come in contact with feel good about themselves and welcomed!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! This is absolutely the worst place ever. The administration only cares about money. The staff does not care about the patients. They all seem to hate their jobs. If you want your loved one to come out of here alive and with dignity, do not send them here. My mom was sent here after a stay in the hospital to build her strength up and be able to go home. However, that is not what happened. She rarely received physical therapy and they kept her for 4 weeks (her stay was only supposed to be one week). During the last week, our father suffered a heart attack. The doctors informed the family to came say their goodbyes. Do you think The Terrace of Kissimmee would have compassion for my mom...NO. We had to BEG them to 'allow' my mom to visit my dad in the hospital. They reluctantly said she could leave for an hour. Then on the day we removed him from life support...they were mad that we were requesting our mom be present (as she needed to sign some paperwork for the hospital). And the worst part, they were not going to allow her to attend his funeral. We told the administrator that we will be taking her ourselves! He was not happy with this and made my mom sign a paper that we were taking her against "doctor's orders". Well, we took her to the funeral and never brought her back! Instead, after the funeral, we took her to the ER where she was diagnosed with pneumonia and a UTI. She was in the hospital for 9 days! Had we left her at the Terrace, she would have died within a week. In addition to all this, we observed negligence on the part of the staff. They did not attend to the patients. Mom described the care she received. When they would give her a sponge bath, she said they were not gentle..."It was like they were using sandpaper!" Another time, while transferring my mom from a wheel chair to the bed, they dropped her on the floor! Apparently, they forgot to lock the wheels on the bed and it moved! It would take them hours to answer a 'call button'. We observed the meals on carts in the hallway. It would take the staff an hour to deliver the meals. The meals I saw, were COLD and MUSHY. Not appetizing at all. My mom was not eating anything that the staff brought. It was disgusting! I would not recommend The Terrace of Kissimmee to anyone!
