The Terrace at Crystal is by the worst place to send a loved one with special needs. They do-not provide a renal diet. Patient response time "could die and no one would ever know ". Beds are plastic covered racks. Their understanding of all sorts of medication and their function escapes most of the staff. Getting meds on your time scale is laughable. Getting alk the right meds is a crapshoot. Most of the nurses and aides were above reproach. The chef, while probably a good home coik,she is terrible for the patients. I believe she uses MSG (monosodium glutamate.)which contains large quantities of sodium. Alright I'll get over it. No I won't.

With our new management there has been better improvement! I am pleased to work here as we our a strong team and do our best to meet each resident needs! We also have a very outstanding therapy department I've seen people come get well and go back to living their normal lives within weeks.
My very sick friend is housed here. Staff doesn't help her when she soils herself, nor do they take out garbages within residence rooms without being told to do so. They allow residence to over store items in their rooms, and I witness many things happening that shouldn't be between residence!
Since it has been under new management things have changed for the good. Residents are happy it is a great place to work. Things keep changing and getting better every day.
This place is awful. My children's father was there. It was impossible to find a nurse. They got residents up, feed them and then disappear. He fell so many times and they never made sure he ate. He was skin and bones and had a large brain bleed from the falls. They finally called 911 and he never woke up again. He was 67. At the end they refused to give us his records of his 6 months there.
