This is a beautiful property and the staff is very friendly. They were hosting a Veterans Day event when I visited. The place is very lively!
Beautiful community! Lots of activities and outings for residents. The management team is superb. The nursing staff is amazing and full of experience. Staffing is all anthology staff, no agency use. The care is wonderful on assisted living and memory care. Highly recommend if you want your loved one in a top-notch senior living community!
Wow! What a beautiful and well-run community! I have worked at several high-end senior living establishments, and this one takes the cake, in my opinion. The staff is on point, the atmosphere is friendly, and you can tell that everyone who works here really knows the needs of specific residents and their preferences. The food also looks amazing, and everything was spotless and clean. Highly recommend looking at Anthology if you or a loved one are in the market for a community that looks and feels luxury resort-level.
They look great and you are promised the world but very poorly managed. They do not allow any camera monitoring in rooms? Why? Liability. Urine filled briefs and feces on floor and refused to clean up, lost belongings, resident belittled for having to use personal items intended for children. The daytime aides in assisted living are very nice and accommodating. Nighttime, not so much. Restaurant is a nightmare. Residents and family spoken down to and yelled at by staff. 7-7 Anytime dining. Multiple times wouldn’t make food. Informed resident already had meal and refused meal prep. Family had to retrieve sandwich in room and bring down to dining room. Restaurant management subpar. Not happy nice place. Food is good. Simple everyday American menu. Facility office Management staff refused to respond to family emails and voice mails. False accusations against resident. Manipulated information. Ensure everything is in writing! Every correspondence is via email. Very unprofessional in that aspect!!! Terrible facility director. Nick D'Erminio. Smiles but is a professional gaslighter. Blames and shames resident and family members when concerns arise. Very condescending and belittling! Assisting living manager is nice but over worked and understaffed. Was told first day, by an aide, we should hire private duty if we want good care. They will not check on resident unless resident uses call button. No routine checks. Repetitively told by Nick D’Erminio, “ maybe you don’t understand the difference between assisted living and skilled nursing care, would you like for me to explain it to you?” Not condescending at all! Tried addressing issues to nurse manager, maybe an opportunity to increase customer service/staff education to ensure a happy compassionate environment but instead accused of “complaining.” How is something going to improve if not brought to light and addressed? Again, blame and shame mentality on management end. Direct debited $2400 without authorization. 26 pages of unexplained erroneous billing; all within a four week period? Billing refuses call back requests to discuss discrepancies. Check your bills!! Refuse to recognize family medical doctor ordered, POA status. Was informed need guardianship if we want any control over loved ones care. Red flag! Threatened to throw resident out or into memory care because of family complaints instead of compassionate action, addressing concerns, and staff education therefore manager doesn’t have take responsibility. Therapy staff stated resident improved close to 50% within four week period but management won’t recognize that and tried to state the opposite. In house therapy is amazing!! Legacy Therapy. Not affiliated with Anthology. Professional, compassionate, educated. Five stars for them! They are the saving grace. My family member was treated by management staff very poorly because of this bad review. Was told by facility manager, if we don’t like it then, “place isn’t for us!” Professional and compassionate customer service it is not! Childish and immature. It’s very sad. All it does is hurt the resident, due to having to move again and add to confusion. Again, blame and shame resident instead of addressing internal issues. Staff who are amazing and wonderful. Kim, Danita, Nick, Katie, housekeeping, Gail, Jessica, and legacy therapy are very professional and are very appreciated. It comes down to being unprofessionally managed. If entire office staff ghosts family that has had paid close to $14,000 in three weeks time and has questions or concerns, that should raise red flags and warning bells for anyone interested in this facility!!! No wonder place is still half empty two years after being open. Had to get an attorney involved and then just found out the place has been bought out! If this is true maybe they will get a new director who has more experience in customer service, compassion, and training. Run!!!!!! You get what you pay for. We’ve since removed our family member and they are doing so much better just in the first day away!
