My dad fell and broke his hip just before Thanksgiving. After surgery he was transferred to The Shoal for rehab. There is so much stress involved with leaving your injured loved one in the care of strangers. The staff here are simply amazing! There are too many to mention by name and title so I will just say every single person that took care of him was compassionate, kind, patient, and personable. He is able to walk again and live at home because of this fantastic facility and the staff that works here. To the staff: We will always be so grateful for each one of you! This was a god send to my momma and the family 💓 The staff as well as Amie were always there to help and support! Couldn't have done it without these great people! Thank you God for putting them in our life! Momma loved them all!!

Recently my aunt came for a rehab stay at The Shoal. Our family was so happy with all the whole experience and the staff. The receptionist were always welcoming, the admissions and rehab team always went above and beyond and the nurses and aides were very attentive. I wish we knew all their names so our family could recognize them all. Thank you
My dad had been in an assisted living in Brenham, his condition worsened and needed to be in a nursing facility. I decided to move him closer to me and after checking around I picked The Shoal. The facility was clean and bright, his room was scheduled to be remodeled soon , but was clean and repainted when he moved in. The staff was caring and friendly. Amy went above and beyond to help with his move. His needs were met with dignity, and they kept me informed of his care.
