My mother’s experience here was horrible! The rooms, the service in Assisted Living, the food that you pay a lot for is the worse quality of food. You pay a VERY LARGE amount of money to have a Sharon Rd address. I believe many years ago this place was probably a nice place to live but it is definitely ALL about the money and appearance now. Appearances/Tours are all deceiving . This is my experience and opinion .

BEWARE. Out loved one passed away at "The Sharon". The day they passed, we were presented with a document that stated we had 7 days to empty out our loved ones contents from the apartment or we would be charged billed by the day! Can't get much colder than that!
After a bad fall, my mom was released from the hospital to The Sharon. We were so nervous to leave safety of the hospital, but have been blow away by the exceptional service from the nursing staff. They have been incredible -- from Asia, Helena, Brandon, Rita... everyone has treated my dear mother as though she were their own. Additionally, the food has been a real surprise -- we have been able to choose menu items (which is so helpful when you are trying to coax someone to eat.) At one point, I caught my husband gazing with longing at mom's cherry cobbler and had to have a stern word with him. :) While it is obviously where we had planned to be at this time, we could not be in better hands. If you are given an option to bring a loved one here, don't hesitate!
My mother was in the short term rehab. for 3 weeks. She was there to regain her strength and PT to get her back to walking with her walker after a 10 day hospital stay. Her room was an old small depressing hospital room with a shared bathroom. The physical therapy sessions were short and not daily. If she because of her dementia didn’t want the therapy they just skipped her session. I had to have private caregivers with her to make sure she got enough care. Needless to say she returned to her facility still not walking and having lost at least 10 pounds because the food was not tasty. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone which is disappointing since I was expecting it to be a good place for her.
Our host was excellent. The late lunch was excellent.
