Don’t judge a book by its cover!!!! One may not see the glitter from afar, but inside, the facility is clean, bright, organized, inviting and exceeded my expectation. The rooms are well divided, nice decor and home like. I love the family room, so thoughtful and the theater is a great asset.

Kindness and care still exist in the world today, and I am truly blessed to have found such a compassionate, proactive, and communicative facility for my 83-year-old mother. Everything happened so quickly for us—my mom transitioned directly from rehab to an assisted living facility. Upon entering Sentinel, the adjustment was challenging for her, though this was through no fault of the facility. From the very beginning, the team at Sentinel has been responsive, professional, and proactive. They guided me through every step of transitioning my mother into her new environment, always prepared to handle whatever was needed. I cannot express enough gratitude for the Sentinel team and the genuine care they have shown for my family. It’s clear they care for my mom as much as I do. She has now been at Sentinel for two months and is gradually becoming acclimated. This is truly a place anyone would want for their loved ones. The staff is upbeat, the residents are happy, and the medical team truly knows and understands the needs of each resident. The facility is clean, bright, and radiates a positive energy.
The CEU class/event was delightful and was an excellent opportunity to network! Food added a nice touch. The atmosphere fostered an environment that allowed everyone to engage on both a professional and casual level. Kind regards, W.

The Sentinel of Mohegan Lake makes residents and their families feel welcome from the outset (that is from the interview to move-in day). The facility is clean, quiet, modern, and spacious. The staff are professionals of the highest order, and the community is such that everyone can find their niche. The staff from the top down strive to improve on all levels by constantly looking for ways to improve the quality of life of the residents. The people there are honest and caring. It has been a great experience! I'm thankful to have met everyone!!
