We've been very impressed with The Sanctuary. My mother in law lives there and it's been so good for her! This visit was the Christmas party where the residents are able to invite friends and family to join for dinner and the evening social. First, the food was amazingly good. My mil has been telling us how good the food is and now we've seen it ourselves. The staff seems to enjoy working there and the residents all seem very happy. We love that they give my mil her meds and that the apartments have no stoves in them. It's been a fantastic place for her and we appreciate the residence and the staff.
Our father was recently a resident of assisted living and memory care and we are so thankful for the compassionate care he received. He was well cared for. He especially loved the food. The staff was extremely supportive and responsive with our family during his final days.
I thought that it would be several years before I would find myself in an assisted living facility though it just sort of happened and now I feel so blessed to be here. Living here makes me free to be me not having to spend valuable time and energy on things that others can do. They really care about us!
This is a gorgeous location, with airy apartments and lovely architecture. However, every time I've been, there has been no one at the service desk. As a home, I would expect the safety and dedication to the residents who may not be able to let in visitors to be a bit higher.
