About a month ago my brother and I decided to put our 89 year old dad into assisted living. After researching and touring other facilities, we decided on the Rose Garden. The Rose Garden is a beautiful newer building. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the spacious upscale lobby, the cleanliness of the hallways and the welcoming pleasant staff. I met with Rochelle, whose official title is “Director of Marketing and Sales”. She gave me a tour of the building, went over all the specific amenities offered and answered any questions I might have in regards to my Dad who suffers a bit from dementia. I felt really comfortable with Rochelle and after further discussion, I decided to move my Dad into the Rose Garden. It’s now been one month since he has been in there. He has a private room with his own bathroom. With dementia comes many challenges but the staff is excellent! Not only do they clean his room and do his laundry, they make sure he gets fed every day by knocking on his door to let him know that the dining room is open. If he is sleeping and doesn’t get there, they make sure a tray is sent to his room. If an event is going on, the staff will let him know that as well. So far he has seen The Calendar Girls, some movies, played games, bingo, visited with the dogs, gone to church and even attended Friday Happy Hour. My Dad loves it there. Sometimes he gets a little lost finding his room but since he wears a pendant around his neck issued by the facility, he is never lost for long and there always seems to be a friendly face to help him find his way. He no longer refers to his sleeping quarters as his “room” anymore. He now calls it his “home”. As for Rochelle, I can’t say enough good things about her. She involves herself with each and every resident. If I have have a question or concern about anything, she always checks on it for me and calls me back promptly. My Dad often refers to her as “my friend who helps me a lot” I personally would like to thank everyone at the Rose Garden for taking such great care of my dad.

My mother has been at The Rose Garden for over two years. She enjoys being there and participates in many of their activities. My favorite is the Friday happy hour where my mom can have a glass of wine and lots of music. During the pandemic the facility did very well in keeping the residents safe and protected. My mother has COPD and the facility kept her in a room by herself for the entire lockdown for which I am very thankful. The staff are so friendly to my mom and me. The facility has a new director who is very proactive with the residents and their families. The administration keeps families updated on their loved ones. I thank the good Lord every day for guiding us to The Rose Garden.
I visited the Rose Garden of for Myers and was given a tour by Rochelle. She was extremely helpful and spent a great amount of time with me. Her knowledge of the Assisted Living process seemed very comforting. The beautiful studio apartment is the perfect size with a walk in shower. I highly recommend this community for anyone looking to place a loved one in the hands of caring people. I was impressed!
My mother in law has been at The Rose Garden for nine months. I am very impressed with the newly hired director. He is personable, kind, and cheerful. He quickly made changes and improvements to the facility. The night nurse, Rochelle, is caring and helpful and is conscientious about her patients.
I've had a series of unfortunate events that just seem to continue. In the mist of all that going on, I was having serious trouble finding a memory care unit for my dad because of his age and not currently with Medicaid. My dad has late stage dementia/Alzheimer's and is completely incapable of caring for himself at 59yrs old. I had been working with Giselle, an assisted living locator agent who was helping me find someone to care for my dad. After a lengthy hospital stay due to covid, Giselle got me in touch with Rochelle. Rochelle worked with the hospital and me to get my dad transported to their amazing facility. I met with Rochelle, whose official title is “Director of Marketing and Sales”. She personally guided me on a tour of the building, went over all the specific amenities offered and answered any questions I had. She showed me everything they'd be doing with my dad and for my dad. She has been literally a text message away and ALWAYS immediately replies. My dad would not be safe without her help. Rose Gardens is a newly modeled facility with a locked memory care unit (and separate assisted living unit). Rochelle has been literally my saving grace for the last 4 months that my Dad has been in their care. Linda the nurse on duty is also a gem. She truly cares and doesn't put up with anything less than the best care. Cassandra at the front desk is always pleasant and calls me if she has questions or needs to inform me of something. People with dementia can be challenging, to find their ticks, ways to calm them and deal with Sun Downers everyday. It's NOT an easy job. But truth be told, I can actually sleep (literally) now knowing my dad is safe and well cared for. He's put on some weight since he's been there which I'm super happy about. He is clean, shaven, always has brushed hair and clean clothes when I see him. My dad wouldn't be safe and secure without Rochelle. There aren't enough words to express my gratitude to her and the staff of Rose Gardens.
