Building Issues. My mother's brand new apartment has been flooded as a result of building construction issues twice in 12 months. Both times making her apartment uninhabitable. She had to be moved out for the second time 4 weeks ago, significantly traumatic for an older person, and yet to date no work has occurred to start rectification. The apartment remains wet and smelly with swollen floor boards, walls and cupboards. Communication from management has been at times sporadic and evasive with no current indication of a time frame. This is particularly distressing for her. Care when you need It?
