The Rio at Mission Trails ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my loved one received at this Facility. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that this facility prioritizes the well-being and comfort of its residents. **Engaging Activities:** One of the standout features of this facility is their diverse range of activities. From arts and crafts to exercise classes and social events, there is always something happening to keep residents engaged and active. My loved one particularly enjoyed the music therapy sessions, which brought so much joy. **Family Involvement:** The Rio encourages family involvement, which made us feel welcomed and included in the care process. The staff genuinely cares about creating a supportive environment not just for residents but for their families as well.
Very nice and welcoming facility. From the administrator, DON and the floor staff are very knowledgeable and always available to help. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. There is no smell and its very clean compared to a traditional nursing facility. This is definitely a home - like environment.
This place is the best nursing home on the southeast side of San Antonio, it always clean. My grandpa loves it so much he asked me to leave a review. The Nursing staff, Activities, people from the kitchen and therapy are so nice and helpful. They always have a party going on. If you looking for a place for your loved one you should definitely come here. I forgot to mention they are like a mini hospital they have hallway dedicated to people who need those special breathing machines.
Terrie LVN on 100 hall is absolutely amazing. She takes very good care of her patients. She is knowledgeable, kind, has great communication, and easy to work with. She always keeps me up to date on our mutual patient. The Rios is lucky to have her and so am I, her colleague fellow nurse.
