I could not be more pleased with this community. The experiences I have had in memory care (and with the assisted living team!) have been nothing but positive. This entire team goes so far above and beyond to care for the residents. The Memory Care Director and Executive Director are both nurses which helps put my mind at ease when I think about the care my loved one needs. This, coupled with the incredible dedication of the Nursing Director, has solidified the relationship and confidence I feel with this community. You truly need to visit to see how incredible this place is and why we would choose this over the other options locally. Thank you to the entire Residence for all you do for us each and every day!

This community is amazing! The residents are always active, and there’s such a warm, vibrant atmosphere. The management team was so wonderful to my family throughout the transition. My mom has since moved in, and she absolutely loves it here!
Even before I walked into The Residence, the walkway and foyer were so welcoming, adorned with winter foliage and tasteful, shimmering decorations…like a winter wonderland. I found that when I entered, I was immediately greeted with 4 smiles in under a minute and a half. The beautiful cathedral ceiling lobby is a hub for gathering & conversation. A warm fire place crackled in the far corner near a beautiful bar. I enjoyed seeing residents enjoying each other’s company and beverages by the fire. I came to do a presentation for the residents and left several hours later with such a feeling of comfort and happiness. While I was setting up my presentation, which was across from the dining room, I couldn’t help but notice the warm atmosphere of the dining area. In so many cultures, food is LOVE. The aromas of the noon time meal and the smiles on the people serving the food were noticeable. It is evident that The Residence takes great pride in the food they prepare & serve to the people who reside here. To feed someone is to love someone -I truly believe- and this made me smile as I was quietly setting up my presentation. I got to meet many of the residents who appeared happy and well loved. I noticed how the nursing and activity staff doted on them, making sure every experience was a meaningful one. Even if it was “just” holding a hand for extended period of time. In the four hours I was within the walls of this home, I felt much love and peace and the beauty of the art of caring. Ali from Methuen
I visit my friend at The Residence at Freeman Lake often, and I’m so impressed with the care and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and always go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. My friend is happier and more engaged than I’ve seen in years. It’s a warm, welcoming place, and I always leave knowing my friend is in great hands. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a caring and supportive community.
My Uncle recently moved into Freeman, initially it was difficult to get him in agreement to go but he absolutely loves it! Every time we talk on the phone, he raves about how great the food is. Ani was incredibly helpful during the move-in process, making everything so seamless and easy for us. its employees like Ani that make us feel comfortable with our family members living at Freeman
