We moved my sister to the Renaissance from another facility when she required memory care two months ago. I can’t say enough about the care she receives from the entire staff. They are so kind and empathetic to her needs. She is so happy and loves it there. I feel confident that they have improved her quality of life immensely. Randy Teall

what a nice change for my mom. just been here a week but my mom seems to like it and the staff is very attentive to her needs. close to my own house is a bonus
The Renaissance is a friendly, cozy, family type facility. I had the most wonderful tour...I was taken everywhere and introduced to alot of the staff. All were very friendly and everyone seemed to know everyone...meaning the residents and staff included. Beautiful grounds and exceptionally clean.
We were looking for a place for my mother. Jackie was very helpful and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure my mom could stay there. The staff seem to enjoy working there and the people they care for. It was clean, bright, cheery and the outside grounds are beautiful as well. We ended up choosing a different place only because the facility type was more suited to my mom. Renaissance was our first choice for cottage style assisted living, hands down.
I began searching for an assisted living facility without any idea of what to expect. My mother-in-law is 96 years old and suffers from dementia and after spending 6 years living with us, it was time to find a home that could provide the care that she needed and deserved. I called several facilities and found that the only way to get the pertinent information was to tour the various facilities. When I toured The Renaissance at Coeur d’Alene it felt like home. The campus was peaceful and well kept with beautiful landscaping in a quiet setting with lots of surrounding trees. The facility consists of several houses with a small number of residents in each house, making it feel more homey and less institutional. The “apartments” were comfortable with plenty of room and included a nice size bathroom and closet. From my first contact with The Renaissance, I was impressed with the caring attitude displayed by all the staff, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and truly seemed to love the residents. All aspects of care were explained, and literature was presented for further explanation. My contact, Jackie, led me through the whole process and made it extremely painless. Placing a loved one in an assisted living facility is difficult for both the family and the person being uprooted and placed into unfamiliar surroundings. Jackie was there for support for the whole family before, during and after the placement. My mother-in-law is thriving in her new home and participates in many of the planned social interactions. I highly recommend touring The Renaissance before deciding on an assisted living facility for a loved one. You will find it well worth your while.
